SAFETY PLC LOGIC MODIFICATION FOR THE HOOTER ACTIVATION FOR THE DYKE NO. 5 AND FIRE CLOCK INTEGRATION WITH SCADA AT BPCL,GOOTY DEPOT

The proposed work involves Safety PLC logic modification for hooter activation at Dyke No. 5 and Fire Clock integration with SCADA at BPCL, Gooty Depot . Presently, the safety logic for Tank High Level Switch (HLS), ESD Dyke Valve, and other interlocks are configured to a single hooter, which creates difficulty in identifying the exact scenario during emergencies. As per BPCL automation policy, each safety event must be mapped to a separate hooter activation to ensure clarity and quick response. Additionally, the automated Fire Clock installed at the depot is to be integrated with SCADA such that on pressing the ESD, the respective Fire Clock is automatically activated. This integration will strengthen emergency preparedness and ensure real-time alarm communication across the facility. We invite bids only from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Safety PLC/SCADA system, as the work involves specialized programming, configuration changes, and integration with existing safety systems, requiring OEM expertise and certification.
