Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with blower to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam laid and rolled to required gradient, camber and super elevation (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 8 to 10 tonne power roller and vibratory roller, with using binder content 4% by weight of total mix using Viscosity Grade Bitumen VG -30, complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Mix shall be obtained from automatic hot mix plant and shall be spread by mechanical paver).

M&L applying evenly a priming tack coat with bituminous primer (Viscosity Grade Bitumen VG -30) @ 5 kg per 10 sqm on existing black top surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, 30 mm consolidated thickness using Viscosity Grade Bitumen VG-30, rolled to required camber, gradient and super elevation with 8 to 10 tonne power roller, mixed in hot mix plant and spread with mechanical paver, complete all as specified and directed. (Notes : (i) The mix design shall be got done from approved lab and got approved from GE before commencement of work. (ii) In the event of variation in the mix design in the percentage of binder content on minus side, the difference in quantity of binder content will be adjusted through supply only rate at market rate or procurment rate whichever is more for paving bitumen VG-30. However no plus adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used/approved in the execution of work under this item.

Dismantling of existing corroded/damaged delineator posts embedded in cement concrete blocks, any type and size, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F high density grade reflectors/delineators of 75 mm O/D heavy duty steel pipe (1.60 mm thick) and 1.20m high with head cap, hydraulic machine pressed and hold fast, weld mesh, two coat of black paint by hot processing over a coat of red oxide primer and reflective strips 03 Nos around the pipe in full perimeter all as per MORTH and IRC specification including necessary excavation and earth work, embedding the post in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, PCC block size 30x30x45cm, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 7 above but except delineator post, complete all as specified and directed. (Note - Dismantled delineator posts shall be reused under this item.)

S&F solar road studs 125x125x80 mm having more than 700 metres visibility during clear weather at night, unidirectional with three LED on each side with automatic dusk to dawn operation, aluminium die casted body with polycarbonate sheet on top with detachable Ni-MH 1.2 Volt battery having 3-4 days backup, complete all as specified and directed.

S & Fixed in repair Cat eyes ABS body dynamically desined very high impact strength with 02 nos highly reflective on both sides size 91X117X17 mm , complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of road surfaces and applying thermoplastic reflective paint for marking of minimum 2.5mm thick single coat as in centre line and edge line, zebra crossing, stop lines etc., road marking of 150/100mm width using 'HOT MARK' thermoplastic paint (Hot application) white or yellow by indigenous modern propelled road marking machine as directed including all ingredients such as blinder, glass beads, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, inter fillers etc, thermoplastic requirement for glass beads shall be conforming to BS- 6086 of MORTH specification including spraying of glass beads @ 300 Gms/Sqm etc all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

M&L repair to pot holes of any depth n. exc. 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust & mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth and making good by applying a tack coat of paving bitumen @ 5 Kg/10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed with 8 to 10 tonne roller and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg/10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chipping, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed with 8 to 10 tonne power roller (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping), depth of pot hole exc 30 mm, complete all as specified and directed.
