REPAIRS TO RCC ROOF TREATMENT, PARAPET WALLS, RAIN WATER PIPES INCLUDING CUTTING DOWN VEGETATION GROWTHS IN ACCESSIBLE AND NON ACCESSIBLE ROOFS AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS IN CERTAIN BUILDINGS OF AREA A AND B AREA OF NAVAL DOCKYARD VISAKHAPATNAM UNDER

Cleaning the concrete surface by removing dirt and debris, making defective locations and removing loose concrete by careful stripping untill hard surface is exposed, cutting the concrete to regular shape, wire brushing the exposed surface and removing debris from site complete all as directed

M&L water proofing treatment on cleaned RCC roof comprising with the following operation and as specified here-in-below :- (a) 20 mm thick (av. mimimum thickness) plastering in cement mortar 1:3 mixed with WPC @ 3% by weight of cement finishing the plastered surfaces even and smooth over cleaned RCC roof. The plastered surface shall be cured properly for ten days by ponding of water over roof. (b) Applying bitumen primer over the plastered surface @ 0.40 Ltr / Sqm by the same membrane manufacturer of density at 25°C, 0.87 to 0.89 kg / Liter and viscosity 70-160 cps. (c) Providing and laying 3mm thick APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer, weight not less than 3.6 kg/Sqm water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with non woven polyester matt make as approved over the primer coat. Membrane shall be laid using butane torch and sealing all joints etc all as per Para 11.44.5 of SSR Part I. (d) Applying one coat of Aluminium paint @ 0.1 ltr per Sqm over APP based polymetric membrane complete all as per manufacturer's instruction.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brick work with subclass ‘B’ bricks, built in cement mortar 1:4 straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius using old size bricks complete all specified and as directed

Taking down cement plaster on brick or concrete wall etc including racking out joint hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L rendering 10 mm thick in CM 1:4 on brick/concrete wall surfaces of any description, and finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed

Demolition of cement concrete (un reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed including removing the debries outside the Dockyard premises.

M&L 50 mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in floor and finishing the surfaces even &fair and without using extra cement all as specified and directed

M&Lrendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 mixed with SBR latex emulsion @ 3% by weight of cement on brick/concrete wall surfaces of any description, and finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed Note:- Quoted rate is inclusive of cost of SBR

M & L preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of exterior emulsion paint (weather coat) over a coat of alkali resistance primer over a coat of cement based wall putty minimun thickness 1.5mm and cutting to smooth surfaces by sand paper complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out PVC (SWR) soil waste and vent pipe of any size including all fittings etc complete all as specified and directed

S&F Pre- painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as specified complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or MS work of any description not otherwise provided, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Steel work in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to I. S.1161- 1979 grade St.-240 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Mild steel work as in Hand rails, half round or other stock section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors balusters, nosing to steps including embeding concrete and screwing etc, wind ties for roof including securing bolts; posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc and similar work confroming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all specified and as directed

M&L for taking out deteriorated/damaged valley gutters of any shape, size and material from the work shop buildings at height of 6m to 20 m including disconnecting the funnels from gutters & Rain water pipe, in position and Supplying & fixing with new Galvalume plain sheet of 1.00mm thick made to shape and size required (width of sheet required is 800mm to 1200mm) with 200mm over laps with double washer self driving screws at joint using leak proof (Tar roof compound or similar material) jointing material and fixed in position complete all specified and as directed

M&L for taking out deteriorated /damaged funnels of valley gutters of any shape, size and material from the work shop buildings at height of 6m to 20 m including disconnecting the funnels from gutters & Rain water pipe, in position and Supplying & fixing with new funnel made out of Galvalume plain sheet of 0.60mm thick to required shape and size to match with the existing funnels required with extra collar of 50mm over the actual outer diameter of rain water pipe and inserting in to the rain water pipe with 150mm length in to the rain water pipe with double washer self driving screws using leak proof jointing material (Tar roof compound) or similar material and fixed in position complete all specified and as directed

Supply only MS flat iron clamps made to any shape with flat iron of 40mm wide and 6m thick (Length of FI required for each clampis 1.00m to 1.50 m ) to support the valley gutter , rain water pipes etc, complete all specified and as directed

M&L for hacking old broken glass of any thickness, size, quality and description and fixing new rough cast wired glass, 6.4mm thickness and glazing with adhesive on vertical shop wall cladding glazing exceeding 0.25Sqm and not exceeding 2.0 Sqm in each panel of the work shop buildings at height of 6m to 20 m fixed in position complete all specified and as directed

Material and labour for preparation of new or previously untreated steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10cm width or girth, and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc chromate primer complete all specified and as directed .

Cleaning of roof/ valley gutter not exceeding 600 mm wide in high rise workshop buildings up 20 mtr height including cleaning of RWP holes spouts and arresting the leakage by the side pipe by chipping off old concrete and applying concrete/cement mortar using with WPC, including removing of plant/Vegetation growths complete all specified and as directed

General Note: The above items are to be executed for multi storied building of five floors height / work shop buildings of similar height and requires double scaffolding to carry out the work The rates quoted shall be accordingly considered for all the safety measure, scaffolding, height, lead and lift in the items.
