Item Description QTY. UNIT AMOUNT IN RS.
MEDIUM/LOW VOLTAGE PANEL BOARDS
Supply, installation, assembling, connection, testing
and commissioning of Panels as per Specification,
Technical Data sheet, IS & relevant drawings.
All panels shall be manufactured by OEM or Authorized
System House of the OEM for IEC-61-439
The unit rate for each item shall include : Supply of
panels. Testing of panels, as per specifications at
manufacturer's works in presence of client's
representative and/or consultant.
Delivery of the panels to site. Shifting of the panels from
site store to the suitable location.
Installation of panels as per Location arranged by
site Engineer in charge including removing packing.
Earthing all components, frame etc. to a common
internal earth bar.
All the nuts bolts & joints exposed to the air shall be
covered with suitable anti - oxidant material ( IEC-61-
439 ) or as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Supply and fixing all accessories and supporting
Checking of Internal connection & wiring, operation of
switches, MCCB, MCB etc..
Supply of necessary tools, hardware, testing
hardware, testing equipment during testing at site.
Supply & fixing of 100 mm main steel [No rolling mill
material shall be allowed] MS channels for fixing the
panel, along with all the required civil materials required
to complete the job as per the instruction of Engineer In
To carry out the insulation test at site and all the
readings shall be submitted in duplicate to the
consultant or engineer-in-charge.
To co-ordinate with other agencies working at site.
To prepare submission drawing and to take approval of
consultant at each stage. To prepare & submit as-built
drawing and handing over document to end user.
All Standard Switchgear Shall be of Schneider, siemens,
ABB & L&K Make preferably
All ACBs shall be provided with following irrespective of
being in SLD/BOQ or not:
a) 1 Sets. 3 Nos. of LED type Phase Indication Lamps
with fuses (Red, Yellow, Blue colour)
b) 1 Sets. 3 Nos. of LED type ON, OFF, TRIP Indication
Lamps with fuses
c) 1 No. of Auto/Manual/ Off and trip/neutral/close
selector switch
d) 1 Sets of 7 Nos. LED type Indicating Lamps for
(breaker ON, breaker Off, trip, spring charge, trip circuit
healthy, breaker in Test, breaker in service)
All MCCB panel Incomers shall be provided with
following irrespective of being in SLD/BOQ or not:
a) 1 Set. of LED type Phase Indication Lamps with fuses
(Red, Yellow, Blue colour) for phase indication and for
ON, OFF TRIP Indication.
b) 1 number MFM with suitable CT ratings at each
All MCCB panel outgoings shall be provided with
following irrespective of being in SLD/BOQ or not:
a) 1 Set. of LED type Phase Indication Lamps with fuses
for ON, OFF TRIP Indication.
MFM where ever indicated shall display following
parameters: Current, Voltage, KWH, Frequency, P.F etc.
as provide in specifications and shall have RS485
communication port for connection to SCADA/BMS.
For operator safety IP2 X (touch proof) protection to be
available even after opening the feeder compartment
door. The compartmentalization to be achieved by using
metal separators, use of PVC sheet / Hilum sheets shall
not be allowed.
The Switchboards shall be metal clad totally enclosed,
floor mounted free standing type of modular extensible
design suitable for indoor mounting.
All the air circuit breakers shall be provided with micro-
processor based trip unit comprehensive communicable
releases with RS 485 for protection against overload,
short circuit & earth faults. For current rating up to 250A
the MCCB breaker shall be thermal magnetic release
whereas for current rating more than 250A and inclusive
of 250A, the MCCB breaker shall be micro processor
based release with RS 485 communication feature.

2.0 SUBSTATION EQUIPMENT
Providing and erecting sandwitched type bus duct
having following specification : Sandwich type busbar
for use as Feeder Busbar for interconnection between
separate electrical equipment/ load centers, and for use
2.1 10-1-2 as Plug in busbar risers.
The busbar shall be suitable for operation in a 690V /
1000 V system with frequency of 50 Hz .System can be
either earthed or unearthed. Impulse voltage should be
12 KV. Standards:
The busbar shall be designed and manufactured in
accordance with the following international standards
for busbar trunking.
-IS 8623/ 1993 Part I & II : Particular requirements of
busbar trunking System

The busbars shall be type tested at a reputable national
/ International test laboratory (ASTA or CPRI) for short
circuit withstand. The test shall be for a minimum
duration of one second.
• Degree of ingress protection (IP rating) shall also be
tested at any reputed independent laboratory. This test
shall be for IP 55 for Indoor and IP 65 for Outdoor
• Short circuit and Degree of protection type test

high conductivity Copper of 99.9% pure ETP grade and

design and not have any cut edges which can absorb
c) Joint assembly shall be removable as separate sub-
assembly so that it can be inserted or removed without
disturbing the adjacent sections.

installer cannot insert the busduct length too far and

e) The busbars ends shall not have any holes or slots at
the joints – the electrical continuity shall be through
pressure plates, achieving a high area of joint cross
section and expansion capability.
a) Plug in boxes will be draw out type, contacts shall be
silver plated and spring loaded.
b) The front operating handle will be interlocked with
the plug-in boxes cover so that MCCB can be operated
only with suitable cover in close position.
c) The door shall be provided with the door knobs.
d) When the MCCB is in ‘ON’’ position, even with the
door knobs unlocked, the operator should not be able to
remove the box or open the tap off location cover.
e) During insertion, the earth conductor shall make
contact first before the phase conductors. This should
follow the sequence of first in last out concept.
f) When the box is open the live conductors shall be safe
guarded by a transparent insulator plate which allows
for visible inspection but does not allow touching of the
live conductors.
g) The tap off unit arrangement must achieve IP
without requiring any additional sealing at site.
h) The tap off boxes will be suitable for accommodating
MCCBs or other accessories, as required. The tap off
units should allow the flexibility of accommodating
different, reputed MCCB makes, to be mutually agreed
depending on the tender requirements.
