Supply of Calcium hypochlorite (stable bleaching powder/ high strength bleaching power) dry free flowing and free from lumps for water disinfecant in granular form with chlorine concentration level 65% to 70% by mass, conf to relevant IS . Calcum hypochorite should not be toxic and induce undesirable substance beyond acceptable limit as given in IS 10500(2012) in trated water and disinfected water. It should be supplied in factory sealed HDPE container of 40-45 Kg drum (packing in drum is preferable to reduce fire hazard in place of high ambient temperature). Calcium hypochlorite to be supply should be according to technical specifactions as under:- (i) Available Chlorine (% by mass) - Min 65 % to 70% (ii) Stability ( Loss of Chloride on basis of availble chloride Max ) - 1\15 (iii) Particle size (passing through 1.70 mm IS sieve) ( %by mass) :- Min 99.5. (iv) Water insoluble matter max - 6%. (v) Calcium Hydroxide max - 4%. (vi) Sodium Chloride max - 15 %.

Note: (i) Contractor shall submit Purchase voucher, Test certificate with date of manufacture and date of expiry of chemical with each lot supplied to department. (ii) Chemical supplied should have min 12 month residual self life at the time of supply.
