Installation of 3 Nos. 11 kV polymeric Lightning Arrestors (LA) at transformer double pole (DP) structure, including proper mounting on GI brackets/LA base channel with required spacing and alignment as per UPPCL standards. Each LA shall be connected with earth via two separate earth pits. Earthing shall be carried out using 1.5-inch (approximately 40 mm) diameter, 3 Meter (10 feet) long hot-dip galvanized GI pipe electrodes, installed vertically and backfilled with chemical mixture (salt, charcoal, bentonite). Each electrode shall be connected to the LA base using 50 mm x 6 mm GI strip with clamps to ensure a low-resistance path. The entire installation shall conform to IS: 3070 (Part-3) and REC construction practices. All materials including LAs, GI pipes, GI strips, clamps, and chemical compound shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost.
Installation and commissioning of LT (Low Tension) cubical distribution box comprising 1 No. 500A and 3 Nos. 300A tailless fuse units for outgoing feeders, mounted within a weatherproof MS cubical enclosure conforming to IS:8623 standards. The assembly shall include internal copper busbar interconnection using 50 mm x 6 mm electrolytic grade copper strip, duly insulated and supported with porcelain or epoxy insulators to ensure mechanical stability and electrical clearance. The copper strip shall be terminated with crimped lugs, and phase separation shall be ensured with heat-shrink sleeves. All materials including LT box, fuse units, copper busbar, insulators, clamps, fasteners, and consumables shall be arranged and installed by the contractor. The work shall conform to UPPCL technical guidelines and safety regulations for LT distribution systems.
Earthing of LT cubical distribution box using Mild Steel (MS) earthing rod as earth electrode. The LT panel body and neutral shall be earthed separately using 25 mm x 6 mm GI strips, clamped securely to the respective terminals. The MS rod (to be provided by the department) shall be driven vertically into the ground and connected to the GI strip using bolted earth clamps to ensure low-resistance grounding. All connections must be mechanically tight and electrically sound, with proper insulation and corrosion protection. All materials including GI strip, clamps, bolts, nuts, and accessories shall be arranged by the contractor, except for the MS earthing rod. Work shall comply with UPPCL earthing specifications and REC construction norms.
Laying or hanging of 3.5 core, 400/240/150/70 sq.mm XLPE insulated LT cable from the secondary terminals of the transformer to the LT cubical box, and further from the LT cubical box to the LT overhead line or service entry point. The cable shall be securely fixed using insulated copper Z/L clamps and tagged at each termination point. All terminations shall be carried out using properly crimped aluminum/copper lugs and covered with high-grade LT PVC insulation tape for phase identification and safety. Cable dressing shall be neat, avoiding sharp bends and ensuring mechanical protection. Only the LT cable shall be provided by the department; all other materials including lugs, clamps, PVC tape, hardware, and tools shall be arranged by the contractor. The installation shall conform to UPPCL technical specifications and IS:1255 for cable laying and termination.
Laying or hanging of 1-core LT XLPE insulated aluminum conductor cable of sizes 1x400/1000/630/240/70 sq.mm from transformer secondary terminals to LT cubical box and from the LT distribution box to LT overhead line or connection point. The work shall include proper termination with crimped aluminum lugs, dressing, tagging, and clamping using copper or GI Z/L clamps to prevent sagging or mechanical damage. Each termination shall be covered with LT-grade PVC insulation tape to ensure phase identification, weather protection, and safety. Only the LT cable shall be supplied by the department. All other materials such as aluminum lugs, Z/L clamps, PVC tape, nuts, bolts, and fixing hardware shall be provided and installed by the contractor as per site requirements. The entire work shall conform to IS:1255 and UPPCL-approved construction norms for LT cable systems.
Hanging and securing of 3x120/95 + 1x95 + 1x16 sqmm LT Aerial Bunched Cable (ABC) on already existing/erected pole, complete in all respects. The work includes provision and installation of all necessary accessories such as dead-end clamps, piercing connectors, suspension clamps with I-hooks, and three-phase LT distribution box (DB) with provision for neutral and earth. Proper mechanical anchoring and sag control shall be maintained. Terminations to be done using 1x25/35 sq.mm single core cable for connections between AB cable and LT DB, using crimped lugs, and insulated with heat-shrink sleeves or LT-grade PVC tape. The entire cable route shall be dressed properly, ensuring mechanical protection and electrical safety. Only LT AB cable shall be supplied by the department; all other materials including clamps, connectors, LT DB, lugs, and fixing accessories shall be arranged by the contractor as per site requirements. Work shall be executed in accordance with UPPCL standards and REC construction practices for LT overhead ABC systems.
Erection and grouting of stay rod for overhead line support using cement concrete mix in the ratio 1:4:8 (cement: sand: brick ballast), including excavation of pit, placement of stay rod at the specified angle, and thorough compaction of grouting. The work includes proper alignment and fastening of stay wire between the stay rod and the pole with secure nuzzling, ensuring mechanical stability of the line structure. Only the stay set (stay rod, thimble, stay insulator, and turnbuckle) shall be provided by the department. All other materials such as cement, sand, brick ballast, binding wire, clamps, and tools shall be arranged and utilized by the contractor. Execution shall follow UPPCL standard line erection diagrams and REC construction norms.
Stringing and tensioning of ACSR Dog/Weasel conductor to be used as neutral wire for Low Tension (LT) Aerial Bunched Cable (ABC) system, including installation or replacement as required. The work involves fixing of the conductor on poles using LT clamps, shackle insulators, and associated hardware such as GI bolts, nuts, and washers to ensure proper alignment, insulation, and mechanical stability. Sag and tension shall be maintained in accordance with REC and UPPCL standards. Only the ACSR conductor will be supplied by the department; all other materials such as insulators, clamps, binding wire, fasteners, and tools shall be arranged and used by the contractor as per site requirements.
Dismantling of existing 250/400/630 kVA, 11/0.4 kV outdoor distribution transformer from plinth or double pole (DP) structure, including complete disconnection of all HT and LT connections, earthing leads, and associated accessories such as GO switch, fuse set, busbars, clamps, and other fittings. The transformer shall be safely lowered to ground using chain pulley block or crane as per site condition, ensuring no damage during handling. After dismantling, the transformer shall be handed over to the Electricity Store Centre, Naini, Prayagraj, as directed by the Executive Engineer (site-in-charge). All tools, lifting arrangements, labor, transportation, and safety equipment shall be arranged by the contractor. The work must be executed strictly in accordance with UPPCL electrical safety regulations and standard dismantling procedures.
Hanging of 11 KV XLPE cable of size 3x70/120/185 sq.mm (as per site condition) on existing or newly constructed 9/11 Meter long PCC, STP, or Rail pole for LT distribution network. The cable shall be fixed using stay wire and MS stay clamps suitable for the respective pole type, ensuring secure anchoring and maintaining standard clearance. Stay clamps with GI bolts, nuts, and washers shall be arranged and installed by the contractor. Cable alignment shall be straight and sag-free, and all bends shall follow minimum bending radius norms as per IS:1255. The contractor shall ensure mechanical protection, tagging, and safety precautions throughout the execution. Work shall be carried out in accordance with UPPCL specifications and REC construction guidelines.

Supply and fixing of 11 Kv 3X70/3X120/3X185 sqmm outdoor box Heat Shrinkable (H.S.) type 11 kV termination and jointing kits for 1-core and 3-core XLPE insulated aluminum conductor cables of sizes 1x70, 3x70, 3x120, and 3x185 sqmm, including outdoor, indoor, and straight-through (S/T) configurations. The work shall include preparation of cable ends, stripping, crimping of suitable aluminum lugs, positioning and shrinking of heat shrink sleeves, application of sealing mastic, insulation and stress control tubing, earthing connection, and final sealing. All joints and terminations must ensure moisture resistance, electrical integrity, and mechanical strength, tested prior to energization. Termination boxes shall be mounted properly at designated locations (outdoor, indoor panel boards, or mid-run S/T joints). All materials including jointing kits, lugs, insulation sleeves, hardware, and tools shall be arranged by the contractor. The work shall conform to IS:13573 and UPPCL technical guidelines for 11 kV HT cable termination systems.
