WATER TREATMENT PLANT: Designing (aesthetically), Providing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning of Water Treatment Plant of the scope of work includes the C/O 0.83 MLD Capacity WTP Capable to treat the raw water of the quality specified in the basic design data to produce clear water as per the requirement of CPHEE0 manual on WS & Treatment. The WTP shall be include the C/0 Raw water tank, inlet chamber, V-Notch, mixing channel, Parshall flume, pre-setting tank, flocculator, alum solution / mixing tank and dosing arrangement, rapid sand filter complete with back wash water arrangement, clear water tank, complete disinfection arrangement with bleaching powder, plant building (for chemical store cum dosing room, water testing laboratory cum attendant room & toilet) supply of laboratory equipment, piping, valves mechanical/electrical equipment, electric wiring and panel board, sanitation, interconnecting paths, site development upto a min. of 3m form edge of battery limit of plant, retaining & breast wall and fencing. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Refer Technical specifications Part-I & Data Sheet 1.0 & 2.0 & automation Technical specifications Part-II, Data sheet-3).
Excavation in foundation and trenches (For pipes and pits) up to all depths and in all classification of each work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing or pumping out of water, blasting soft or hard rock or chiselling or wedging out of soft/ hard rock, where blasting is prohibited, in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, levelling of beds to correct grade including shoring, strutting, planking, timbering and dewatering where ever required. Stacking usable and unusable material/soil separately and after laying, jointing and testing of pipes, returning the usable soil in trenches 15cm layers including consolidating of such deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/ unusable material as directed within all leads/lifts including restoration of unmetalled surfaces to its original condition and including cost of diversion for traffic, night signal boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respect with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. ( For Civil work, Rising/Gravity & Distribution System Pipe Line)
Providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8(1cement:4sand:8graded stone aggregate of 40mm nominal size)and curing complete excluding cost of form work including all leads and lifts: a) Foundation and Plinth.
Providing form work with steel plates 3.15mm thick welded with angle iron in frame 30x30x5mm so as to give a rough finish including centering shuttering strutting and propping etc. height of propping and centering below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4mtrs.and removal of the same for in situ reinforced concrete and plain concrete work including all leads and lifts complete to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Regular maintenance of all the facilities covered under the instant scheme including cleaning, washing, oil and greasing repair, replacement of worn out/damaged part of pumping machinery. pipe line, valves and electrical, Mechanical requirements, regular cleaning of all structures like storage tanks, sumpwells, intakes, channels, collection/distribution channels/pump house etc. and the disposal of the same as per the direction of the Engineer-incharge. It includes fixing /repairing/leakage in structure, channel, pipe line, pumping machinery etc. & proper distribution of treated water and regular testing of water samples from departmental laboratory and required stages of treatment. Keeping regular and proper record of water quantity and quality, repair and maintenance work, chemical dosing and time and hours of run of pumping machinery, removal of all kind of slips, slush, uprooting of unwanted grass, shrubs, weeds etc growing near the structure and keeping the area neat and clean to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Planting and maintaining plants of the flowers/trees around the Pump Houses/ WTP/Storage tanks/Sump wells etc. to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. It includes the cost of procurement of adequate and proper tools and plants, skilled & unskilled manpower, spare-parts, oil, grease, lubricants, chemicals and all kinds of regents required for water sample testing, refilling of gaseous cylinders including mechanical and head load carriage etc. and making standby arrangement all times, instruments, equipments, stationary and any other material etc. required for O& M excluding the cost of energy charges. All the operations shall be carried out as per the CPHEEO Manual of the water supply and treatment( with latest addition(, HPPWD/HPIPH specifications, HPIPH Department norms and directions issued by the Engineer-in-Charge from time to time and sound Engineering practices.O& M shall start after succesful trial and run period of six months after commisioning of scheme in all respect.( Refer to data sheet No-9)
