S&F mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings, etc with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters, framed signed boards, walk ways, railings, framework of water tanks and similar work including welding conforming to Fe.290 (Gde E-165), complete all as specified & as directed.
S&F mild steel screw bolts of 11-15 mm diameter of shank (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, length of bolt exceeding 5 cm but not exceeding 10cm long complete all as specified.
S&F mild steel round bars 10mm dia and over as in tie bars fixed to fencing posts and other similar works, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending, binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips or welding of bar at spots as directed, conforming to Grade E-165 (Fe 290), with & including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of aluminium red oxide primer after preparation of surfaces, complete all as specified & as directed.
M&L for mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally or hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia complete all as specified & as directed.
All as per serial item No. 24 here-in-before but 6 to 10 mm dia in stirrups, spacers and binders.
S&F rolled mild steel work as in Plates (plain or chequered) channels. Square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, with bolted or welded attachment, including necessary welding etc. conforming to Fe-410-W (Gde E-250) quality `A’ complete all as specified and as directed.
S&F rolled mild steel in framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc. complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging, also fastening and fixing complete conforming to Fe 290 (Gde E-165) complete all as specified and as directed.
S&F mild steel framed work using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to I.S 1161-1979 Grade St-240 including necessary welding, bolting, special shaped washer, clamps, cleats etc. complete all as specified & as directed.
M&L for expanded metal weight not exceeding 4 Kgs per Sqm, cut to length, bent to shape required and tying with and including annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or fixing with galvanised steel staples supplied and fixed complete to wood or steel members complete all as specified and as directed.
Fixing only mild steel galvanized chain link fencing, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts etc. including provision of binding wire, complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Supply only chain link fencing shall be measured and paid for separately.
Supply only mild steel galvanized chain link fencing (Coating 120 to 140 GSM) not more than 4mm dia of mesh wire, 75mm x 75mm mesh size (or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge) including line wire complete all as specified and as directed.
S&F stainless steel (Grade-304) railing and similar works made of hollow tubes, channels, plates etc, including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, including fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners, stainless steel bolts etc, of required size for gate with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-in-Charge. (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding accessories such as nuts, bolts, faterners etc).
M&L for 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6, type C2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub-floors, sub-bases, floors and pavings, etc finished fair and even complete all as specified & as directed.
M&L for precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in Kerb block (Kerb Stone), factory casted, with plain fair faces, size 10cm x 30cm each or as directed, including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angle throating, with plain or interlocking joints and setting in cement mortar 1:4, fixed in position to the required line, level and curvature including making drainage opening wherever required, complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Shape & size of Kerb blocks shall be as approved by the GE.
Dismantling carefully existing serviceable precast cement concrete Kerb block (Kerb Stone) of any size with plain or interlocking joints and re-setting/re-fixing in & including cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified & as directed.
M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls, finished the surface even & smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified & as directed.
M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of wall & applying two coats of cement base paint of approved shade/tint over a coat of alkali resistant priming paint complete all as specified & as directed.
M&L for complete removal of existing treatment by mechanical means (any number of layers) by hand held sander/ long handle sander, rubbing down, stopping of distempered & Jet pressure washing of surfaces of wall & applying two coats of cement base paint of approved shade/tint over a coat of alkali resistant priming paint complete all as specified & as directed.
M&L for preparation of new concrete/plastered surfaces of Kerb stones, decorative wall and the like and applying two coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of shade as approved by Engineer-in-Charge (Company Depot Tinted) in alternate panels in different shade/tint with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Painting to Kerb stones, decorative wall, etc in alternate shade/tint as approved by Engineer-in-Charge shall be carried out.
M&L for preparation of old painted surface of Kerb stones, decorative wall and the like and applying one coat of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of shade as approved by Engineer-in-Charge (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm as per manufacturer's instructions in alternate panels in different shade/tint complete all as specified and as directed. M&L for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of 1st quality synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of zinc chrome primer complete all as specified & as directed.
M&L for preparation of old painted steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of 1st quality synthetic enamel paint of approved tint complete all as specified & as directed.
M&L for cement concrete (Quality Concrete) work in pavement/hard-standing of flexural strength 40 Kg per square centimeter in field using 400 Kg of cement per cubic metre, thickness of concrete 25 cm or less, including necessary form work for laying in bays between joints & contraction, expansion joints/or between the two contraction joints, finishing surface of concrete roads, pavements, pavings etc by brooming whilst the concrete is green, complete all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) The construction, dummy (contraction) & expansion joints shall be measured separately under respective items. (ii) Design mix shall be approved by GE before execution of the work. In case, quantity of cement as per actual design mix works out less than 400 Kg per cum of concrete, then minimum cement as 400 Kg/Cum of concrete shall be used without any extra cost to Govt. In case cement as per actual design mix is more than the 400 Kg/cum of concrete, the actual quantity as per design mix shall be used in the work without any extra cost to Govt.
M&L for forming Construction joints 30mm deep x 10mm wide, filled with sealing compound Grade 'A' complete all as specified.
