Work Involves: Calendered natural rubber sheets of thickness 2.5mm suitable for hot bonding, with required adhesives, solvents, curing agents, etc. shall be supplied. Packing, forwarding, transportation, loading/unloading, and storage at the FACT Cochin Division site, Ambalamedu, Kochi shall be done. Surface preparation shall be done by shot/grit blasting and proper cleaning. Fresh rubber lining shall be applied for pipes up to and including 150 mm diameter by hot bonding method to a thickness of 5 mm using two layers of 2.5 mm thick natural rubber sheet as per the scope of work detailed in Special Conditions of Contract, General Conditions of Contract and Specification Sheets attached and curing to get a hardness of 70 ± 5 Shore A. Sufficient overlap shall be given.
