Biennial contract for Maintenance of dyke with ballah pilling & bamboo walling around ash pond no. 1&2 of BTPS.

Supplying sul-bullah piles at work site including dressing & making one end pointed: 15 cm. dia pile.

Coal tarring on wooden surfaces including cost of materials. Double coat.

Labour for driving Sal-ballah/Eucalyptus ballah piles by monkey in sorts of soils including hoisting & placing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting & shaping heads before and after driving and including hire & labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackles. When work under considerable (i.e. above 1 m.) standing water involved: 150 mm.diameter. As per direction of the Engineer-in charge.

Bamboo pile walling made of 6.5 cm. to 5 cm. dia bamboo (in single) driven out half-length in to the ground at a very closed spacing of 15 cm./c/c side-by-side including necessary bamboo ties, stays etc. and lining the exposed portion with sheets & from cut drums fitted & fixed complete as per direction (excluding cost of drums only but including the cost of cutting the same and flattering the sheets) and including the cost of nails wires etc. and carriage of drums of drum sheets from departmental go down to working site with bamboo of length above 2.5 m. and upto 3 m. each. As per direction of the Engineer-in-charge

Labour for filling empty cement bags with sand & placing them in position including tying or sewing mouth (cost of thread included) and all incidental charges complete including the cost of empty cement bags and supplying fine silver sand 0.020 cum./bag.

Cleaning of compound premises of shrubs plants, jungle etc. by cutting and removing as directed (specific permission of the EIC prior to execution will be necessary) (Payment to be made on areas cleared).

Earthwork in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sand stone) including removing spreading or stacking the spoils with a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, leveling dressing and ramming the bottom bailing out water as required complete: Depth of excavation not exceeding 1500 mm.

Earthwork in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer-by-layer complete (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement or finished quantity of work): With carried earth arranged by the contractor within a radius of 3.00 KM. but not exceeding 5.00 KM. including cost of carried earth & ramming the bottom bailing out water as required complete). Depth of excavation not exceeding Up to 1,500 mm.

Hire charges of 5 HP water pump Petrol/Kerosene) with operator including oil & fuel and other necessary accessories.

Supply of unskilled workman (02 nos. Non-Listed) two nos. manpower for different emergency works throughout the year like cleaning of ash chamber, barricading of ash dyke etc. and other related works as per direction of EIC. Category-1 Note: - (i) In case of enjoying E. L (Max. 15 days/head/Year), this rate will be reduced by Rs. 129. 06 per day for each worker. (ii) In case of enjoying listed holiday (Max. 7 days/head/Year), this rate will be reduced by Rs. 129. 06 per day for each worker. (iii)Mandays means physical attendance & EL if any & Holiday if any. (iv) ESI, PF, Bonus, Dust allowance, Tiffin allowance, Other allowance & Conveyance allownce are included in rates. (v) House rent allowance and Welfare allowance are not included in rates. Category I. Including profit & supply/ hire charges of necessary tools & tackles.

Extra for performing duty on listed holiday (Max. 7 days per worker per year) against Category-I including ESI @ 3. 25% & Profit.

House rent allowance for 02(two) nos. worker Category-I. This allowance @ 20% of basic shall be paid to those workers for the full month subject to performing 06 days of work within a month by a particular worker. Payment will be made accordingly. Rate is per month per worker including ESI @ 3. 25% & Profit.

Supply of unskilled workman (02 nos. Non-Listed) for Day-to-day inspection of total ash pond dykes maintenance and attending the odd jobs related to Ash pond including maintenance of ash water outlet of 2 nos. ash pond and other tit-bit works as per direction of EIC. Category-II Note: - (i) In case of enjoying E. L (Max. 15 days/head/Year), this rate will be reduced by Rs. 129. 06 per day for each worker. (ii) In case of enjoying listed holiday (Max. 7 days/head/Year), this rate will be reduced by Rs. 129. 06 per day for each worker. (iii)Mandays means physical attendance & EL if any & Holiday if any. (iv) ESI, PF, Bonus, Dust allowance, Tiffin allowance, Other allowance & Conveyance allowance are included in rates. (v) House rent allowance and Welfare allowance are not included in rates. Annual cost of PPE (on reimbursement basis at actual) for 07 nos. workers. For each worker: Helmet (01 No. per worker in 2years), Safety shoe (01 No. per worker per year), Gumboot (01 No. per worker per year), Hand gloves (01 pair per worker per month), Nose guard (02 nos. per worker per month), to be supplied in consultation with Fire & Safety Dept., HR&A Dept. and Utilizer Dept., BTPS
