Outsourcing of services for routine maintenance and operation of Lift installations mentioned in particular specification at the following locations, in shifts of 8 hours, including Sundays and holidays, by employing Semi Skilled Lift operators for operating the entire system including attending telephonic complaints, maintaining necessary records and documents, complete all as specified and directed:- Note: Semi skilled lift operators per day as decided by the Engineer-in-charge, in any shift as per site requirement, shall be deployed by the contractor and accordingly the duty roaster to be submitted by the contractor before commencement of each month. Details of shift for deployment of operators shall be given by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for Sl item Nos. 1.01 to 1.05 here in before : (i) The rates quoted are inclusive for attending all complaints incase of break down / failure of supply. (ii) The rates quoted is deemed to include for any other minor works to restore the functionality of lifts as directed by the Engineer - in- charge. (iii) The rate quoted is deemed to include the cost towards uniform for the staff employed for wearing during the working hours . the uniform shall be pant, shirt & shoes and the pattern of the uniform shall be decided by the Engineer- in -Charge.
(iv) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of supply and maintenance of the documents such as log sheets, complaint register, Attendance register, log sheet, duty register etc... all as directed and daily log sheet to be submitted to concerned JE before 1000 hrs of succeeding day otherwise absent report will be initiated for those shift for which log sheet are not submitted. (v) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of cost towards keeping the surrounding area of lifts neat and tidy during the contract period.
(vi) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of tools and safety equipment required for running and maintenance of lifts. (vii) The contractor shall be fully responsible for making payment to the Operatort as per the minimum fair wages mandated by State Govt or Central Govt, whichever is higher, and the details pertaining to the same are to be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge before claiming RAR payments. (viii) Necessary inventory for the items installed at site to be prepared jointly for Handing Taking over of assets between Department and Contractor, any deficiencies in items noticed during the period of contract, the contractor shall be liable to make good to the items with the items of original specifications as received at the time of Taking over, without any extra cost to the Govt.
(ix) Necessary Insurance for all the Employees Deployed for the M&O to be carried out as per prevailing Rules and copy of the same should be submitted to the Engineer-in-charge within one month of the commencement of the work. (x) It will be Contractors responsibility to submit all the documents as asked by the Security Department of the concerned area to obtain Necessary Entry Pass to the working area and copy of the same should be submitted to the Engineer In charge. (xi) The contractor shall display lift safety precautions as well as DO's and DONT's at each lift location, duly laminated, as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge.
(xii) All the lifts to be kept in serviceable condition with Minor repairs and replacements (Not costing more than Rs 5,000.00) during the entire contract Period. Any Major Faults occurred to be intimated to concerned JE and Engineer-in-Charge, in time, so that the same can be attended immediately. (xiii) If any operator found absent from duty, recovery will be made at Rs 1,000.00 per shift per operator. (xiv) The payment shall be made to the employees by the contractor through AADHAAR linked bank account only. Proof of payment made to the operators employed by the contractor shall be submitted to the department, duly signed by the contractor, before making any RAR claim.
(xv) All the Semi-skilled lift operators shall be qualified holding certificate in the trade from ITI or equivalent institute or should be having minimum two year experience certificate in the respective field for which they are to be deployed and all certificates shall be produced within 7 days for the issue of work order otherwise the operator shall be removed from duty. (xvi) Spares required for urgent repair of lifts will be issued as and when required basis at MES store yard subject to availability of the stores. Cost for fixing of these items and the supply only items catered here-in-after at Sl item Nos. 2 to 7 are deemed to be included in the rates quoted for Sl item No. 1.01 to 1.05 here-in-before.
Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 × 600 × 6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to 32x6mm GI strip as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of copper all as shown in electrical plate No.3 connected to earthing test point, including 20 mm GI pipe (Medium grade) for watering and 40 mm GI pipe (Medium grade) for protection of earth strip and etc.. including testing on completion ,PCC chambers in PCC (1:3:6) type C1, RCC M25 type cover slab 50mm thick with 8mm dia TMT HCR/CRS steel bars at 140mm C/C both way and lifting handle, GI funnel, wiremesh ,funnel, lugs and charcoal, salt etc.. all as applicable including taking down old unserviceable earthing complete for taking into credit all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge Note:- The rates quoted is inclusive of 32x6mm GI strip earth conductor upto a length of 7.5m from the earth pit. Length beyong 7.5 Mtrs shall be measured and paid seperately
Supply and lay earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc... as required of 32 x 6 mm dia galvanised iron or steel earth strip, including taking down old unserviceable earth strip for taking into credit, complete all as specified and as directed.
