MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS REQUIRED FOR B/R & E/M SERVICES (Sch 'A' Part-XII)

SITE CLEARANCE AND SITE DEVELOPMENT Bringing approved earth (as approved by Garrison Engineer) from sources outside defence land including all cost such as royalty if any, transportation, taxes if any etc. complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- (a) Earth required for the item shall be supplied by contractor from outside of MOD land of any lead, at his own arrangement. (b) All cost of procurement of earth including cost of transportation, compaction royalties, tax etc shall be deemend to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (c) Forming embankments / filling in low lying areas including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm thick, watering ramming / rolling and finishing of required size, shape etc not exceeding 1.5 m high from base / natural ground level. (d) With reference to Clause 3.6 of MES Schedule Part-II on Serial Page NO. 21, it is clarified that measurement of the above item shall be of finished embankment / traverse of filled earth after consolidation / compaction and 5% deduction shall be made from measured and calculated volume to allow for increase in bulk. (e) Total quantitiy / partial quantity of earth may not be available in Missamari Area. The contractor shall bring the earth outside area and it is advised to quote the rate considering available of soil and its lead involved.

EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY M&L for Boring/Drilling (Horizontally) manually/mechanically under existing road (Maximum 10 M in width) suitable for passing GI tubing of 40 to 100 mm bore complete in all respect as specified and as directed.

SEWAGE DISPOSAL Supply, laying, jointing and testing of 150 mm internal diameter of Double Wall Corrugated (DWC), High Density Polyethylene Pipe (HDPE) and stiffness classes -8 (SN-8) with ISI marked (with CML no) and including all fitting of pipe & jointing material for sewage line and laid in trenches all as specified in IS -16098-2013 part-2 complete complete in all respect as specified and directed. Note : Pipe line should be connected from man hole to man hole including cutting and making good finish of existing man hole.
