REPAIR MAINT TO BLAST PENS, SOFT PENS, HANGERS ETC IN TECH AREA AT AF STN JAMNAGAR UNDER GE (AF) JAMNAGAR No. 1

Dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing pre- painted galvatume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for pre-painted galvalume aluminum Zinc coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof ridges etc fixed with self drilling screws, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing roof trusses (framed), trussed, purlins, crane gantries, rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) (Fe-410-W(Gde-E-250) quality-B) including distance pieces, cleats etc including steel is painted one shop coat of zinc chromate primer paint (including preparation of surface) at Contractor’s workshop before fabrication, etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & Fixing rolled mild steel Fe 410-W (Gde-E-250) quality-B in framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing including steel is painted one shop coat of zinc chromate primer paint (including preparation of surface) at Contractor’s workshop before fabrication, etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for approved earth filling by spreading leveling to make the required level etc. in back of Travrse Wall/top of Blast Pens along Blast Pens, Soft Pens, etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note- (i) Soil required for filling shall be brought out from out side MD Land under his own arrangement of contractor. (ii) Soil shall be free from pebbles, stones, bushes, shrubs and other vegetation, black cotton soil. (iii) Measurement for filling shall be carried by stack measurement of the soil brought by the contractor. (iv) Measurement shall be carried out for net finished volume of earth filled subjected to 20% deduction due to bulkage.

Supply and fixing in repair for purpose made MS framed work as in weep hole cover of flat Iron frame with welded mesh, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down old Nylon Net of Bird proofing for shed/storage accn/Hangers including fittings such as wooden fillets / boardings and re-fixing in same position after cleaning down/ washing till dirt and dust free including fixing material such as wooden fillets/boardings, clamps, nut & bolt, washers, wire/nylon rope, etc to make the site bird proof, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- This item shall be executed for the building up to 10 metre height from ground level and quoted rates shall be deemed to include for all necessary arrangement for execution of this item upto 10 meter height.

Supply and fixing in Repair Nylon Net for Bird proofing for shed / storage accn / Hangers including fixing material such as wooden fillets/boardings, clamps, nut & bolt, washers, wire/nylon rope, etc to make the site bird proof, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge., complete details as under (i) Burst strength up to 44 pound. (ii) Shall meet ISO 1806 Protocols. (iii) Size of mesh 20 mm x 20 mm. (iv) Thickness 0.071 inch( 6 strand each .012 inch). (v) Quality control:- Filament are Wisted and knotted pressure, stretched and tightened. (vi) Break strength: 52 lbs/2316 Kg per strand. (vii) Chemical Properties:- Polyethylene ( a paraffin hydrocarbon, chemically inert, flame retardant and highly resistant to most chemical at temperature. High resistance to acids and alkaloids at all concentration. (viii) High temperature 210 to 239 degree F (100 to 115 Degree centigrade. (ix) Low temperature resistance 139 to 166 Degree F (-95 to -11 degree Centigrade) Note:- (i) Sample of make shall be approved by GE in writing after checking above parameters from manufacturers test certificate. (ii) Contractor shall submit ten years life guarantee for bird proof net on bond paper. Contractor shall also submit security deposit (in addition to performance security) amount i.e 5 % of executed in the form of FDR or same shall be retain from FB . (iii) This item shall be executed for the building up to 10 metre height from ground level and quoted rates shall be deemed to include for all necessary arrangement for execution of this item upto 10 meter height.
