Renovation of UPS and battery room in sub-station (civil)

Amount

Demolishing Nominal cement concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (including equivalent design mix) manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge.

Taking out doors, windows and clerestory window shutters (steel or wood) including stacking within 50 metres lead : Of area 3 sq. metres and below.

Dismantling tile work For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 50 metres lead.

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Providing and laying in position excluding cement concrete specified grade 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-Ill) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth of level.

Providing and fixing 18 mm thick Granite stone slab of colour black, Cherry/Ruby red, Area of slab over 0.50 sqm, gang saw cut, mirror polished, premoulded and prepolished, machine cut for kitchen platforms, vanity counters, window sills, facias and similar locations of required size, approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20 mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing of edges to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels.

Providing and fixing 1st quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS: 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approved make, in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, in skirting, risers of steps and dados, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3(1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete.

Providing and fixing 35 mm thick ISI marked flush door shutters conforming to IS : 2202 (Part I) non-decorative type, core of block board construction with frame of 1st class hard wood and well matched commercial 3 ply veneering with vertical grains or cross bands and face veneers on both faces of shutters including ISI marked Stainless Steel butt hinges with necessary screws.

Providing and fixing 40 mm wide and 4 mm thick glass strips in joints of terrazo/ cement concrete floors.

Cement concrete 40 mm thick with 20 mm nominal size stone aggregate flooring 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat cement, including cement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc. complete.

Finishing with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) On concrete work at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer's specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete.

25 mm thick Kota stone slab flooring over 20 mm (average) thick base laid over and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab, including rubbing and polishing complete with base of cement mortar 1 : 4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand).

12 mm cement plaster of mix:1:6(1 cement: 6 fine sand).

Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC content less than 50 gram/litre, of approved manufacturer and of required shade and colour all complete to achieve even shade and colour:New work (two or more coats) over and including water thinnable priming coat with cement primer having VOC content less than 50 gram/litre.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : Two or more coats on new work.

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Applying priming coats with primer With ready mixed pink or grey primer on wood work (hard and soft wood) having VOC content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content.

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.
