REPAIRS AND REWINDING OF CEILING FANS, EXHAUST FANS AIR CIRCULATORS AND REPAIRS TO GEYSERS HEATING APPLIANCES AND ALLIED WORKS AT NAUSAINIK VIHAR AREA DOLPHIN PARK AREA AND MISC TECHNICAL BUILDING AT DOLPHIN HILL UNDER GE(NB) VISAKHAPATNAM

Taking down and dismantling the ceiling fan 1200 / 1400 mm sweep of any capacity from existing position and removing its allied spare parts for cleaning, servicing, oiling and lubricating and replacement of unserviceable parts such as bearings, bushes, etc and refixing the same fan in its original position with all the parts i.e. down rod, canopies, fan blades, spilt pins, screws, nuts and spring washers etc complete including provn flexible copper conductor cable of 24 / 0.20mm of required length with necessary connector (for blade / body) as required after rewinding (if any) complete all as specified and directed. (Note : (i) Spare parts shall be measured and paid seperately as supply only and rewinding of fan shall be measured and paid seperatly under relevant item here-in-below. (ii) The cleaning, servicing, oiling and lubricating of fans has to be carried at site itself and to be completed within one hour unless re-winding is required. (iii) The cost of transportation from site of work to workshop and back for rewinding is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rate, (iv) Rewinding shall be carried out in contractor's workshop and fan shall be re-fixed at site within 10 days after taking down from site. Any delay after 10 days shall be penalised @ Rs. 100.00 per day for a maximum of 10 days).

M & L for preparation of old painted surfaces of ceiling fan of any size/sweep/make, cleaning all dust etc and painting with one coat of synthetic enamel (1st grade quality white) paint by spraying including filling cavities with filler and marking same MES No. with parmanent marker etc complete all as directed. (Note: The ceiling fan taken down under Serial item No. 01 shall be painted and measured under this item.)

M & L for preparation of old painted surfaces of exhaust fan of any size/sweep/make, cleaning all dust etc and painting with one coat of synthetic enamel (1st grade quality white) paint by spraying including filling cavities with filler and marking same MES No. with parmanent marker etc complete all as directed. (Note: The exhaust fan taken down under Serial item No. 02 shall be painted and measured under this item.)

M & L for preparation of old painted surfaces of air circulator/ pedestal fan/ wall mounting fan of any size/sweep/make, cleaning all dust etc and painting with one coat of synthetic enamel (1st grade quality white) paint by spraying including filling cavities with filler and marking same MES No. with parmanent marker etc complete all as directed. (Note: The air circulator/ pedestal fan/ wall mounting fan taken down under Serial item No. 03 shall be painted and measured under this item.)

Taking down the air circulator/ pedestal fan/ wall mounting fan of any size/sweep/make from existing position dismantling blades including preparation of old painted surfaces of ceiling fan of any size/sweep/make, cleaning all dust etc and painting with one coat of synthetic enamel (1st grade quality white) paint by spraying including filling cavities with filler and marking same MES No. with parmanent marker, refixing the blades and fan,connecting up complete all as directed.

Supply, fix, installation and commissioning BLDC ceiling fan of less noise, silent operation, speed controlable by regulator, light colour, conforming to IS-374-2019, 1200 mm sweep, 230 Volts, BEE 5 Star rating, any Govt recognised Lab tested, power factor >0.94 Wattage and not more than 35 Watt, air delivery not less than 215cmm alongwith electronic type regulator and all accessories such as down rod etc and connecting up with 1.5 Sqmm, PVC insulated, multistranded copper conductor cables from ceiling rose to fan including taking down old unserviceable ceiling fan from its existing position and removing to MES store yard complete all as specified and directed. Taking down the existing storage type water heater of any capacity of any type and size by disconnecting electric connection, carring out following necessary repair work, tinkering and welding etc. including de-scaling, brushing and thoroughly cleaning the storage tank/inner water tank, removing of hard water deposits, and connected back and re-fixing in orignal position, grounting, testing and commissioning, complete with entire satisfection of Engr-in-Charge:- (a) Checking of all stop cock, pressure release valve, fusible plug etc to ensure free functioning of the parts including Supply and replacement of washer/gasket, nuts etc as required. (b) Inspect over flow and vent pipes and remove blockages (if any) (c) Checking and rectify earth continuity of the electrical circuits of the geyser and power points (d) Check, maintain and re-fixing thermostat and re-adjust (e) Visual examination of of fusible plugs for its serviceability (f) De-scaling the immersion type heating element and siphon assembly with diluted hydrochloride acid or cear pedette solution (g) Checking of indicator lamp for its serviceability (Note: (i) Spare parts/components of geysers shall be measured and paid seperately as "supply only" under respective items here-in-below. (ii) Any minor parts required for smooth functioning of the geyser shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt. M & L for Repair to 25 Ltr water heater/Gyser cell cover by cutting rusted sheet and replacening with new MS sheet of 18 guage by brazing or welding as required to match existing cell cover including testing for a 3 kg /sqcm pressure, re-assembling and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (by spraying) over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete to whole geyser including preparation of old surfaces after complete removal of existing paint of vertical/horizontal type geysers by scraping with wire brush and emery paper including writing geyser Number etc including taking down and re-fixing in original position, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and as directed.
