Dismantling/disconnection of existing light fittings, ceiling fans, switch boards, distribution boards, isolators, power & telephone cables, wires, electrical conduits, CTS wiring etc from the Ambalamedu School building and its premises. The disconnected and dismantled electrical items shall be transported to the scrap yard in CD-stores. Loading, unloading and vehicle for transportation of the items to scrap yard shall be arranged by the contractor.

Installation of ceiling fans. The scope of work includes installation of ceiling fans and its accessories. The interconnection from JB/ceiling rose to the fan shall be done using 3C x 1.0 sqmm flexible cable. All the accessories including suitable PVC connectors, ceiling rose(if required), flexible cable etc shall be supplied by the vendor.

Installation of 12M switch box. The installation scope shall include chipping the wall/pillar and concealing the switch box, mounting the frame and cover/front plate after fixing the switches/sockets, wiring the switch box, termination of 1.5/2.5 sq.mm multi stranded cables etc. Separate earth shall be provided to the switch board. The materials such as SS screws, PVC/nylon grips for mounting the switch box etc. shall be supplied by the contractor.

Providing accent lighting of stone plaque at the entrance using LED strip (warm white). The LED drivers and other accessories shall be mounted in suitable enclosure attached to the rear wall. All the items for completion of the work including LED strip, LED driver, suitable enclosure etc shall be supplied by the vendor.

Supply of High lumen, 4 feet LED batten light with all accesories having the following specifications: Colour temperature: 6500K, cool white Lumen output: 2200lm or more Power:20-22W Operating voltage: 200-250V OEM Warranty: 1 year Make: Wipro garnet plus 22 or equivalent

Installation of LED batten. The scope of work includes fixing of the LED battens to the wall using suitable clamps, providing power connections to the battens using flexible cables to the nearest JB/ceiling rose etc. All the materials required for completing the work including connecters,clamps etc shall be supplied by the contractor.

Supply of 650/1100V, PVC insulated, FRLS ISI marked ,multi stranded 1.5 sq.mm copper red/blue/yellow/Black/Green wires. All neutral shall be wired using black wires and earth points using green wires. Acceptable makes: Finolex, RR kabel, Polycab, Traco

Installation of the 1.5 sqmm copper wires. The installation scope shall include drawing of cables through PVC conduits from switch board/JBs/DBs to light fittings/fan/plug points/junction boxes/DBs and termination of cables at the above points. A maximum of 6 wires shall be routed through a single conduit.

Supply of 0.5 Sq.mm 10 pair industrial flexible telephone cable. Acceptable make: Finolex, Polycab, Delton or equivalent

Installation of the 0.5 sqmm 10 pair industrial flexible telephone cable. The installation scope shall include drawing of cables through PVC conduits from switch box/JBs to RJ11 telephone sockets/ switch boxes/junction boxes and termination of cables at the above points. Care should be taken to see that not more than 3 cables are taken through a single conduit.

Supply of IP 55 FRP telephone JB, 10 pair with 10 pair krone connector, suitable PVC glands, door and lock/clamp.

Installation of telephone JB. The scope of work includes fixing of the JB to wall using suitable fastners, termination of incoming and outgoing telephone cables, minor civil work etc.

Supply of 19/20mm medium type ivory coloured rigid ISI marked PVC electrical conduit with all accessories such as junction boxes, couplers, bends, tee, elbow ,G.I/PVC saddles, screws,wall/ceiling plugs etc. required for the surface conduit wiring.

Installation of PVC conduit wiring system. The installation scope shall include fixing of PVC conduits and its accessories to the walls / ceilings /columns etc. and neatly clamping at a uniform spacing of 450mm using GI saddles, tagging, drilling holes, minor civil work etc.Suitable sized junction boxes shall be provided at regular intervals. The materials required for the installation such as PVC saddles, screws, nuts and bolts junction boxes etc shall be supplied by the contractor. The erection scope shall include, drilling holes, chipping ,plastering, minor civil works etc.

Supply of 650/1100 V, Aluminium conductor, 4c x 35 sqmm PVC Insulated, PVC Sheathed (FRLS), Galvanised Round / Flat Steel armoured aluminium Cable conforming to IS 1554/Part I of 1988 or IS 7098 Part I, with latest amendments and with Cable length & ISI marking, to be marked on every 5 Meters on the outer Sheath of the Cable.

Supply of 650/1100V, stranded copper conductor PVC insulated, extruded PVC sheathed, armoured, FRLS PVC outer sheathed YWY/YFY cable of size 4c x 2.5 sq.mm.

Providing new cable trench and laying of cables upto size 4c x 35 sqmm, PVC insulated 650/1100V, armoured power cable in the trench. The scope shall include excavation of cable trenches for a depth of 0.6m, laying of cable, supply and laying of well burnt bricks of 50mm thickness for cable protection inside cable trench and backfilling of trench after laying cables .Cast iron LT Cable route markers (painted in RED colour) shall also be supplied and installed in every 15 meters above the cable trench. The cable shall be routed through GI pipes, wherever crossing the road. The rates quoted shall be for the length of trench and not for the length of cables. Bricks shall be laid across the cable and not lengthwise. The cuttings made on roads shall be propely filled with PCC and cement plastered neatly,levelled/trowelled.

Erection of new pole lamps. The scope of work includes cutting the scrapped Rail sections kept at the FACT-CD Rail yard /Phase 1 scrap yard/ Electrical Workshop area to a length of 8 Meters, transporting the same to Ambalamedu school, erecting the same and concreting (ratio 1:4:8) the footing and constructing a brick work foundation upto 60 cm from the ground level and plastering the brick work. Suitable size of webs shall be welded at the bottom of the Rail post before erection. MS ISA 35 X 6 suitable for fixing two nos of LED flood lights shall be provided as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. MS ISA 65 x 6 of suitable length shall be welded at the back side of rail post at a spacing not more than 30 cms as step to reach the top for easy repair/maintenance of light fitting. The rail posts shall be painted using coal tar paint. A yellow band in enamel paint, 450mm wide at equal spacing of 450mm through out the length shall also be provided. The brick work foundation shall be painted black. After erecting the post, the plot shall be consolidated with soil. The MS angles required for the work shall be supplied by the contractor.

Supply of pole mounting type LED flood light with all accessories including fixing brackets having the following specifications: Colour temperature: Cool white Lumen output: 9000lm or more Power:90-100W Operating voltage: 200-250V OEM Warranty: Min 1 year Make: Philips/Crompton/Syska/Bajaj/Luker/GM/Orient.

Supply of IP 55, 250X200X150 mm size SMC box with the following components: 1) One No. 6A MCB should be provided for the lighting circuit. 2) 2 Nos Al.strips (size 80mm X 20mm X 4mm )mounted on fibre insulation supports for interlinking cables. 3)Terminal for earthing: Terminal strip shall be provided with bolts, nuts & washers suitable for the cable connection for earthing. Required number of cable entry shall be provided only at the bottom side of the box.

Installation and commissioning of LED flood light fitting. The scope of work includes installation of LED flood light fixtures,termination of cables,testing and servicing. The light fitting shall be fixed on ISA 35 x 6 after providing suitable bolt holes on the angle welded to the rail post. The work includes laying of 4 X 2.5 sq.mm Cu.cable for wiring the light fitting from the SMC junction box and clamping of cables to the post using Aluminium strip (width 20 mm and thickness 2 mm) at an interval not more than 60cm. All materials such as MS angles, Aluminium strips, cable glands, G.I nuts and bolts etc. required for the work shall be supplied by the contractor. The fitting shall be energised using 3 x 1.5 sqmm armoured cable from the SMC box and shall be supplied and installed by the contractor.

Installation and servicing of SMC boxes on rail posts: The work includes installation and servicing of 250 mm X 200mm X 150 mm size SMC boxes on rail street light posts at suitable heights from the ground level. The work also includes glanding and termination of all the incoming and outgoing cables and internal wiring of junction box. The box shall be mounted on M.S brackets which shall be welded to the Rail post. Cable entry shall be provided only at the bottom of the junction box and suitable sized G.I pipes shall be inserted inside the brick work foundation for drawing the cables from cable trenches to SMC box. The spare holes shall be properly sealed. All the materials including the GI pipes shall be supplied by the contractor.

Installation of gate light. The scope of work involves installation of the post top lamp in GI pipe, termination of power cable using suitable PVC connectors, fixing GI pipe of suitable size after chipping, cutting of the existing pillar, cutting route for power cable, laying of cable, cement plastering,finishing and minor civil works. All the materials required including the GI pipe shall be supplied by the contractor. The suitable gate light fitting will be supplied by FACT free of cost.

Supply of 4" , B class GI pipe as per IS:1239 PART-1 (1990).

Supply of 415 V, 4 way TPN metal double door DB IP 4X with 63A TPN MCB as incomer and 4 nos 32A 3P MCBs with neutral looping as outgoing. The 32A MCBs shall be B series ISI certified and rated for 10 kA short circuit capacity. The bus bar shall be made of copper and rated for 63A minimum. The DB shall have separate neutral and earth buses and shall have provision for duplicate earthing also. The DB shall be suitable for mounting on MS brackets grouted to the wall. Suitable sized knock outs shall be provided at the bottom and top side of DB for entry of incomer/outgoing cables/wires/pvc conduits. The neutral and earth bus shall be suitable for taking individual leads for each circuit. The gaskets used if any, shall be of neoprene only. Acceptable makes: Siemens/Schneider/ABB/Havells/IndoAsian

Suitable sized knock outs shall be provided at the bottom and top side of DB for entry of incomer/outgoing cables/wires/pvc conduits. The neutral and earth bus shall be suitable for taking individual leads for each circuit. The gaskets used if any, shall be of neoprene only. Installation of the 4 way TPN metal double door DB . The DB shall be mounted on 35X35X4 mm MS brackets grouted to the wall. The scope of work shall also includes termination of circuit mains/outgoings on MCBs and,earth/neurtral buses and neatly clamping of cables/wires inside the DB. Spare slots provided for mounting MCB if any shall be properly blanked. Suitable adaptor box for termination of 4c x 35 sqmm cable if required shall be supplied and fixed to the DB, if required. The scope of work shall include chipping, ,fixing, bolting, grouting, replastering, welding, clamping, minor civil works etc. and supply of materials required for the successful completion of the work such cement,rubbles,M-sand ,M.S angles, cable glands, adaptor box etc.

Installation of the 6 way TPN metal double door DB . The DB shall be mounted on 35X35X4 mm MS brackets grouted to the wall. The scope of work shall also includes termination of circuit mains/outgoings on MCBs and,earth/neurtral buses and neatly clamping of cables/wires inside the DB. Spare slots provided for mounting MCB if any shall be properly blanked. The scope of work shall include chipping, ,fixing, bolting, grouting, replastering, welding, clamping, minor civil works etc. and supply of materials required for the successful completion of the work such cement,rubbles,M-sand ,M.S angles, cable glands etc.

Supply and erection of G.I. Pipe Electrode earth pit as per the specification drawing enclosed.

Supply of 650 Volt grade, 1c X 16 sqmm, PVC Insulated, Unarmoured Aluminium earthing cable as per IS 694, with latest amendments and with ISI marking & Cable length to be marked on every 5 Meters on the outer sheath.

Laying, clamping and connecting of 650 Volt grade, 1c X 16 sqmm, PVC Insulated, Unarmoured Aluminium earthing cable.The scope of work includes laying of cables through walls/risers/trenches, dressing and clamping the cable at regular intervals with Aluminium clamps, not exceeding 500 mm,drilling holes, connecting to DBs/earth pits, trenches upto earth pits, minor civil work etc. All materials required for clamping and termination such as Aluminium clamps, bolts, nuts, washers, cable tags, Aluminium cable lugs etc shall be supplied by the contractor.

Supply of HD industrial single phase exhaust fan with ISI mark and all accessories, having the following specifications: Powe supply: 230V, 50Hz RPM: 1300-1450 Sweep: 300mm OEM warranty: min 1 year

Installation of exhaust fans. The scope of work includes installation of exhaust fans. All the accessories including suitable PVC connectors, fixing accessories shall be supplied by the vendor.
