SECTION-I MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF E/M INSTALLATIONS

Manning and operation of DG set installation and CHS at ASCON node/Signal centre having assests as under:- (i) DG set 100 KVA :-02 No. (ii) CHS 250000 Kcal/hr (A) OPERATOR STAFF TO BE DEPLOYED PER SHIFT (a) Diesel Engine Operator (Skilled Tradesmen having qualification of 12th pass out certificate from any Govt. recognised institute having minimum 5 (Five) years of experience in the field to operate CHS and DG set including handling operation of such installation). (b) Nos of person to be deployed per shift of 8hrs - 03 Person (c) Nos of shift to be deployed per day= 03 shifts per day for 335 days (3 x 335 =1005 shifts) (One Operator per each shift total 03 Operator in a day) i.e 3 shifts per day for 335 days (3 x 335 = 1005 shifts) (Each shift of specified timing for 8 hrs daily of 11 calender months for DG set installation) and for CHS installtion 8 hrs daily of 06 calender month. (d) unit rate to be quoted = Per shift Note: In addition to M&O of DG set installation duty (for 11 months) these individuals will also perform the duties of operating CHS installation (for 06 Months). (B) Nature of work to be done at Ascon Node and Signal centre by Operator (i) Operation of DG set and boiler of CHS (ii) Periodical check of battery (iii) Preparation of daily run log sheet (iv) Filling Diesel in the tank ,miantain the DG sets Note: (i) Spares parts like fan belt,hose pipe kit ,diesel pipe kit,Distilled water for batteries required for ordinary maintenance of DG set will be measured and paid seperately.

Basic Rate (Wages) payable to the Operator for Manning and operation of DG set and CHS etc as included as above under srl item No.2

Contribution towards Employees Provident Fund (EPF) for srl item No 2.01

Contribution towards Employees State Insurance Corporation(ESIC) for srl item No. 2.01

Contribution towards Bonus for srl item No. 2.01

Over Head charges and Profit on Srl item No. 2.01 to 2.04

Labour Welfare Cess (LWC)

Notes for Srl No. 2.01 to 2.06 :- a)The quoted rate against EPF, ESIC and Bonus shall be considered for payment on actual basis. Contribution towards EPF, ESIC and Bonus is payable only after submission of valid and authentic document in support of having paid the requisite amount of bonus to the workmen, i.e proof of payment. b) The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes, cess, levies as applicable including GST. c) At the time of Financial evaluation if Quoted rate against srl no. 2.01, 2.02, 2.03, 2.04, 2.05 and 2.06 which corresponds to/works out to lower than the corresponding prevailing minimum rates of wages/subscription/contribution towards EPF, ESIC, Bonus and LWC shall be treated as non-bonafide and such bid shall not be considered for acceptance. The prevailing rate/wage/contribution shall be as applicable on bid submission end date. d) Quotation with 'NIL' or 'ZERO' consideration (overhead and profit) shall be considered non bonafied.

Manning and operation of DG set installation and CHS at Div HQ having assests as under:- (i) DG set 600 KVA :-01 No. (ii) DG set 400 KVA-01 Nos (iii) LT panel-02,APFC panel-1 and Voltage stabilizer 750 KVA-01 Nos CHS installation (i)Boiler-14 Nos, (ii)Monoblock centrifugal pump-10 No. (iii) FCU-128 (iv) Glycol circulation centrifugal pump-06 (A) OPERATOR STAFF TO BE DEPLOYED PER SHIFT (a) Operator (Skilled Tradesmen having qualification of 12th pass out certificate from any Govt. recognised institute having minimum 5 (Five) years of experience in the field to operate CHS and DG set including handling operation of such installation). (b) Nos of person to be deployed per shift of 8hrs - 02 Person (c) Nos of shift to be deployed per day= 02 shifts per day for 335 days (2 x 335 =670 shifts) (One Operator per each shift total 02 Operator in a day) i.e 2 shifts per day for 335 days (2 x 335 = 670 shifts) (Each shift of specified timing for 8 hrs daily of 11 calender months) and for CHS installation two shift per day for 8 hrs daily (ie Ist shift from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and IInd shift from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am daily) for 06 calender month Note: In addition to M&O of DG set installation duty (for 11 months) these individuals will also perform the duties of operating CHS installation (for 06 Months) (d) unit rate to be quoted = Per shift (B) Nature of work to be done at Div HQ by Operator (i) Operation of Dg set (ii) Periodical check of battery (iii) Preparation of daily run log sheet (iv) Filling Diesel in the tank ,miantain the DG sets CHS installation (i) Operation of Boiler including glycol make up pumps (14 Nos Boiler and 10 Nos pumps) (ii) Periodical check of Glycol including necessary make Up (iii) Checking of leakages in glycol piping

Manning and operation of water supply Pump installation at bore well no.03 having assests as under:- (i) Submersible pump -04Nos (ii) borewell-04 (A) OPERATOR STAFF TO BE DEPLOYED PER SHIFT (a) Motor Operator(Skilled Tradesmen having qualification of 12th pass out certificate from any Govt. recognised institute having minimum 5 (Five) years of experience in the field to operate Pump set including handling operation of such installation) (b) Nos of person to be deployed per shift of 8hrs - 02 Person (c) Nos of shift to be deployed per day= 02 shifts per day for 335 days (2 x 335 =670 shifts) (One Operator per each shift total 02 Operator in a day) i.e 2 shifts per day for 335 days (2 x 335 = 670 shifts) (Each shift of specified timing for 8 hrs daily of 11 calender months) (d) unit rate to be quoted = Per shift (B) Nature of work to be done at arty bde by Operator of DG set:- (i) Operation of Motor Pump (ii) Periodical check of motor (iii) Preparation of daily Run Log sheet (iv) Adding the bleaching powder and,altoch in UG sump and water bouser

Manning and operation of CHS installation at Alfa mess comprising the following assests : (i) DG set 125KVA-01 No. (ii) CHS -250000k cal/Hr (A) OPERATOR STAFF TO BE DEPLOYED PER SHIFT (a) Diesel Engine Operator(Skilled Tradesmen having qualification of 12th pass out certificate from any Govt. recognised institute having minimum 5 (Five) years of experience in the field to operate CHS and DG set including handling operation of such installation). (b) Nos of person to be deployed per shift of 8hrs - 02 Person (c) Nos of shift to be deployed per day= 02 shifts per day for 180 days (2 x 180 =360 shifts) (One Operator per each shift total 02 Operator in a day) i.e 2 shifts per day for 180 days (2 x180 = 360shifts) (Each shift of specified timing for 8 hrs daily of 06 calender months) (d) unit rate to be quoted = Per shift (B) Nature of work to be done at CHS of Alfa mess by Operator (i) Operation of DG set and boiler (ii) Periodical check of battery (iii) Preparation of daily run log sheet (iv) Filling Diesel in the tank, Note: (i) Spares parts like fan belt,hose pipe kit ,diesel pipe kit,Distilled water for batteries required for ordinary maintenance of DG set will be measured and paid seperately. (ii) Spares parts like SS sleeve,seal ring made of Gun metal,Suction bush made of Gun metal,SS pump motor coupling for ordinary maintenance of Pumping motor will be measured and paid seperately.

SECTION-II Consumables for Ordinary Repair/Maintenance

Supply only fan belt for DG set capacity from 400 KVA to 500 KVA as per existing sample(cummins Model )

Supply only fan belt for DG set capacity from 100 KVA to 125 KVA as per existing sample (cummins Model )

Supply only fuel pipe kit for DG set capacity from 400 KVA to 600 KVA as per existing sample(cummins Model )

Supply only fuel pipe kit for DGset capacity from 100 KVA to 125 KVA as per existing sample (cummins Model )

Supply only hose pipe kit for DG set capacity from 400 KVA to 600 KVA as per existing sample (cummins Model )

Supply only following parts as per existing model sample for Submersible pumping set of capacity upto 20HP:-

(a) Stainless steel sleeve for pump of motor

(b) Seal ring made of Gun metal

(c ) Suction bush made of gun metal

(d) SS Pump motor coupling as per sample

(e) SS stud nut

(f) L& Key bolt

Supply only distilled water for batteries complete all as specifed and directed.

Note for all the items :-(a) FOL collection : FOL collection as per requirement basis from 9 Compo Pl, approximate 2 Km shall be part of the job at no extra cost and shall be collected by the staff deployed under this contract irrespective of trade. (b) Uniform :- The M & O staff shall wear uniform as directed/decided by the GE/Engineer-in-Charge mandatory tools. Insulating pliers, cutter, screw drivers, DE spanner set shall always in possession of the duty SBA, both uniform and tools shall be arranged by the contractor. (c) Petty repair with gland packing, tightening of nuts, bolts, removing of foreign material from the suction/delivery line of pump shall be included in unit rates of the item quoted here in before. (d) The contractor shall be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the Pump installations/DG Set installation area/CHS. (e) If the operator is found Absent from duty a recovery of Rs 1000/- per shift shall be effected from contractor's RAR or Final Bill in addition to non payment of manning and operation charges as per CA. (f) The area of pump installation/DG Set/CHS upto the fencing or boundry wall shall be cleaned by the contractor. In case if the area is not found cleaned a recovery of Rs 1500/per month shall be deducted from contractors payment.

Deduct Credit for Demolished/ Dismantled material Rs. (-) 905.00 (Minus) as listed in Schedule 'A' Part-II (Credit Schedule) Note: Tenderers will not quote against this item being a tentative amount to be considered to arrived at the 'Contract Sum'
