Material and labour for providing and laying a comprehensive multi-course waterproofing treatment to reinforced cement concrete (RCC) roof slabs, gutters, rainwater outlets/khurras, and vertical surfaces of parapet walls, comprising the following system of treatment (from bottom to top): (a) thorough surface preparation by cleaning, wire brushing, and drying the cement-plastered/screeded substrate, providing a 75 mm × 75 mm continuous angle fillet/cove in cement mortar 1:3 at all floor-to-wall junctions, and applying one coat of approved solvent-based bituminous primer conforming to IS 3384 at the rate of not less than 0.40 litre per square metre over the entire horizontal roof surface and vertical parapet wall faces up to a minimum height of 60 cm (600 mm) above finished roof level; (b) over the priming coat, providing and laying one layer of factory-made Atactic Polypropylene (APP) modified polymeric waterproofing membrane, 3 mm nominal thickness, having a minimum total weight of not less than 3.60 kg per square metre, reinforced with a non-woven spun-bond polyester fabric core weighing not less than 160 g/m², laid over the primed surface by torch-on method using a regulated LPG blow-torch flame ensuring 100% full-surface fusion bonding to the substrate, maintaining a minimum end lap of 100 mm and side lap of 75 mm with all seams, joints, and overlaps heat-welded and sealed completely watertight, extending the membrane continuously up the vertical parapet walls to a minimum height of 60 cm (600 mm), inserting the top edge into a continuous horizontal chase/groove (minimum size 65 mm × 65 mm) cut into the parapet masonry/concrete, wedging, sealing, and finishing flush with polymer-modified cement mortar 1:3 admixed with waterproofing compound to form a secure waterproof membrane flashing; and (c) cleaning the exposed membrane surface and applying two coats of approved bituminous aluminium reflective paint conforming to IS 2339 to provide a solar heat-reflective, UV-resistant, and weather-tight protective finish, complete all as specified.

(Note: Laying of the APP-modified polymeric membrane shall be executed strictly by the torch-on method by trained/authorized applicators as per manufacturer instructions, ensuring a continuous 5 mm to 10 mm compound bleed along all sealed side and end laps. Bituminous primer shall conform to IS 3384, 3 mm APP polymeric membrane to IS 16532 / UEAtc / MOAT 27, and bituminous aluminium paint to IS 2339. Cement plaster grading screed to falls/slopes, rainwater downpipes, and protective cement concrete/tile screed overlays [if ordered] shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items of Schedule 'A'. Supply only liquid water proofing compound.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified.

M&L for brickwork with burnt fly ash old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM (1:6) complete all as specified.

Material and labour for reinforced cement concrete (RCC) of nominal Mix 1:1.5:3 (Type A-1 using graded crushed stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size), conforming to IS 456, as in substructure and foundation works below plinth level including raft foundations, isolated and combined footings, strap/grade beams, foundation beams, plinth beams, column footings/pedestals, basement floor/retaining slabs, under-reamed bored piles, pile caps, and mass concrete foundation elements at all depths, depths below ground level, and elevations, executed in mechanical mixer machines, including batching, mixing with requisite water-cement ratio, handling, hoisting, placing into position around reinforcement steel and within formwork, vibrating with mechanical immersion needle/pin vibrators to ensure dense, homogeneous, and void-free compaction without honeycomb formation or segregation, striking off, screeding, finishing top surfaces to true line, plumb, level, and grade, forming construction joints and keyways where authorized, providing and maintaining all necessary temporary staging, scaffolding, bailing/pumping out subsoil or surface water, and continuous water curing for a minimum period of 14 days (or 21 days for mineral admixed cement), complete all as specified. (Note: Steel reinforcement bars and formwork/shuttering shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items of Schedule 'A'. Admixtures [plasticizers/retarders, if required/approved] shall conform to IS 9103. Earthwork excavation, backfilling, and base PCC mud-mat [lean concrete] shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items of Schedule 'A'. Use and waste of form work to sides and soffits of floor or roof beam, beam hauchings, girders, bressummers, lintels, cantilevers, shelves, for flat rough finished concrete surfaces complete all as specified.
