1. Uprooted rank vegetation, grass, bushes, wood, stones, rubbish, trees and sapling etc. from site shall be lifted at the end of each working day and disposed at designated dumping place at Housing colony at contractors cost and nothing extra will be paid on this account. All the waste generated must be disposed at the end of each working day and not later than the next working day failing the department will arrange lifting of the garbage as above at the risk and cost of the conractor. Apart from the recovery of the transportation charges at prevailing markert rate and as decided by the Engineer in charge, a penal recovery at the rate of Rs 500/- per instance will be made from Bills due. Also while transporting all necessary arrangement shall be made to avoid spillage of garbage on the roads and any such spillage on roads shall be cleared by the contractor at their cost.
2. Grass/jungle cutting of an area against work schedule/written instructions of the Engineer/ Departmental Supervisor in site order book or in other format shall be completed within 10 days after passing instructions, faling which the department will arrange for clearance of such area at the risk and cost of the contractor. In such event Decision of the engineer In charge is final and binding on the contractor. Apart from this, a penal recovery at the rate of Rs. 3/sqm of unattended area per one time will be deducted from the Bills dues on every such occassion.
3. Prescribed Log sheets shall be maintained for each item and all operations and shall form the basis for payment. Token signatures of all concerned department officials directly connected with the work as per the instructions of the enginner in Charge must be obtained witnessing and accepting the work performed immediately after completion of job in a particular area and not later than a week after completion of such job, failing which the work will not be admitted for payment.
4. Site Instruction book in the prescribed format shall be maintained by the contrator for receiving instructions from concerned officials and recording of compliance. The same shall be produced along with bill claim. Suitable penal recoverys will be made in the bill for non-fulfilment of instructions given from time to time. Descision of the engineer In charge is final and binding on the contractor.
5. The contractor shall ensure that sufficient labour strength is employed by him daily and shall submit the daily report of attendance of workers employed by him to the departmental representative daily.
6. A Supervisor (Semi-skilled) shall be deputed by the contractor to supervise the work on daily basis and report to Engineer-in-Charge. He shall maintain the account of daily labour, log sheets and other consumable materials and the register shall be kept ready at any time for verification by the Engineer-in-Charge. In case the supervisor deployed is absent or not reporting to the Engineer for receiving day to day instructions, contractor shall arrange alternate supervisor immediately and not later than weeks time after written communication from Engineer, failing which a penal recovery of Rs 600/- per day will be made in the Bills. (Minimum Qualification- 10th Pass)
7. If performance of the contractor is found unsatisfactory, the department reserves the right to terminate his Contract at anytime during the contract period.
8. Unsatisfactory work will not be measured for payment. Decision of Engineer in Charge with respect to satisfacton & acceptability of work, regarding any penal recoverys towards unsatisfactory work or against any of the provisions mentioned elsewhere in the tender/contract shall be final & binding on the contractor.
9. Contractor shall deploy required manpower on daily basis expect on national Holidays and sundays to cover the scheduled operations in time as per specifications and to the satisfaction of the Engineer.
10. Police Verification Certificate of all workers shall be obtained by the Contractor before deploying them on the job. Contractor is fully responsible for the behavoir, acts and deeds of the workers deployed by them.
11. Contractor shall provide all necessary PPEs to the workers as required and shall ensure safe execution of work as directed by EIC. Contractoir is responsible for the safety of the workers and safe execution of work and the department shall be indemnified from all liabilities in this respect.
12. Rates quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of all taxes including GST and the department will not entertain any claim whatsoever in this respect.
Providing all tools, tackles, materials, manpower, equipments, machinery etc., for clearing jungle by uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, bushes, wood, stones, rubbish, trees and sapling of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1M above ground level including uprooting and removal of rubbish, clearing grass by using spade up to 50mm depth, including maintaining visibility by pruning of branches of trees up to 4 Mtrs height in the attended jungle area , collecting the rubbish generated from jungle clearnce, pruning etc. transporting the same by mechanical/manual transport upto a lead of 2 Kms. including all costs of loading & unloading disposing of rubbish/grass woods at dumping yard of HWPK housing colony etc complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Providing all tools, tackles, materials, manpower for cleaning grass and uprooting of the grass by using spade up to depth of 50mm, collecting cut grass/weeds/rubbish/woods etc complete, transporting all cut grass and rubish by mechanical/manual upto a lead of 2 Kms, disposing of the rubbish at dumping ground of HWPK housing colony etc., including all cost of loading & unloading, disposing etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge etc. complete
Providing all tools, tackles, materials, manpower, equipments, machinery etc., for spraying herbicide 'Roundup' manufactured by MONSANTO or equivalant (mixing 150 ml chemical of herbicide with15 litre water and sprayed over an area of 5000 sqm or as per manufacturers specifications along with any admixures suggested by the manufacturers) in open areas etc. Complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note : Basis of measurement will be per liter of undiluted chemical.
Providing Blade Tractor service to carry out levelling of earth, uprooting and other related works as and when required including the cost of driver, diesel and all other consumables, non consumables, tools and tackles etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Providing JCB service to carry out excavation, uprooting and other related works as and when required including the cost of operator, diesel and any other consumables, non consumables, tools and tackles etc. all complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Providing all tools, tackles, consumable and non consumable materials, manpower, machinery for transporting and dumping all waste, debris, rubbish, woods, big boulders etc. including collecting the same from residential/public buildings, Road berms and other places in the colony by mechanical transport (Tractor & Trolley with side covered of minimum 1.5 meter) disposing the same to the dumping area/ designated places in the colony as directed by the Engineer, including all costs of manpower, loading, unloading, transport, driver, diesel and other consumables and any other incidental expenses etc. complete as per specifications and as as directed by the Engineer-In- Charge Note : This item will be used for specific purpose and not meant for general garbage from colony covered under other items.
Providing all tools, tackles, materials, manpower, machinery, necessary arrangements etc. for removal of fallen trees/Dead tresss including transporting to the dumping ground/designated place within the colony upto a lead of 3 KM, depositing bigger size branches in colony office premises or as directed by the Engineer by deploying required man power, power tools & tackles, skilled operators and by observing /meeting all the safety requirements/ norms etc. and including refilling the pit with the available earth , dressing etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer. Note: Contractor shall make all necessary arrangement to cut the fallen tree in to pieces of suitable size for the ease of handling and dispose it as directed by the Engineer. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.
