Dismantling and Removal of Shell, Bottom Plate, Roof, Assosiated Structures , Pipelines, and Brick Lining of Decommissioned W4 Evaporater cum Economiser in Sulphuric Acid Plant, FACT-CD, Ambalamedu.
Cutting, Dismantling and Transportation of Roof,Shell,Bottom Plate,Structurals, Pipelines etc of Decommissioned W4 Evaporater cum Economiser MOC CS/SS: Work involves: Make required site arrangements for the work including scaffolding inside and outside W4. Removing the Insulation material provided on the outside of W4. Cut and dismantle part by part entire roof, shell, Tube sheets, Gilled U tubes / coil assemblies, structural supports and platforms, bottom plates, foundation foots, assosiated pipelines, brick lining in bottom part and ducts of W4. Cutting and dismantling shall be executed as per the instructions from site in charge. Bottom plate shall be cleared completely from the foundation. Any temporary support required for dismantling shall be done by the contractor. The dismantled plates/structures/pipes/ducts etc shall be transported to the scrapyard after weighing. Gilled U tubes / coil assemblies etc. after weighing shall be transported to and unloaded at earmarked area with necessary packing / supports or to scrapyard as per instructions from engineer in charge. Scope of arranging cuttings gases (oxygen, DA / LPG) for required quantities, trucks and trailers of various capacities required for cutting,dismantling and transporation and unloading at scrap yard / earmaked area shall be in the scope of this contract.Crane for cutting and dismantling at the site shall be provided by FACT subject to availability, while smaller crane for loading to trucks / trailers and unloading at scrap yard/ear marked area shall be under the contractors scope. Site shall be cleared after work, dismantle temporary supports if any and any left over scrap shall be shifted to scrap yard. Cutting shall be done without any hindrance for smooth functioning of the Plant.
