Operation and maintenance of Srivari Pushkarini, with the following details. (excluding GST)
A) SRIVARI PUSHKARINI
Operation and maintenance of Following: 1. Intake well and Pump room - 3 Nos of 35 HP pumps,motors and starters. 2. Pressure filters - 3 Nos of 2.5 Lakhs Liters per hour capacity 3. Air Compressors - 3 Nos 4. Mixing of Chemicals- Chlorinators - 1 No vacuum feed, 3 Nos gravity feed. 5. Watch and ward and cleaning of Pushkarini.
The following is the scope of work
1. Intake well and pump room Pump room consisting of intake well with three number of 35 HP Pump and Motors. a) Shall maintain 24 hrs of pumping with 2 nos. of pumps for effective filtration. b) Cleaning of pumps, replacement of impellor, shaft bearings and body etc when ever damaged, and effective maintaining of pumps with Anti-Corrosive paints / chemicals, welding, packing etc., c) Maintenance of motors such as rewinding of motors, shafts, and other parts etc, including replacing and repairing of starters as and when required. d) Water level should be maintained in in-take well so as to maintain pumps and motors safely. e) All leakages in intake well shall be attended and arrested. f) The pump room should be maintained clean and there should not be any leakages in valves, motors and pumps. g) Replacement / Servicing / Repairing of all Sluice valves, Non Return Valves, CI /MS/ DI pipes and specials etc.
2. Pressure filters
1Activities: a) Three (3) numbers of 2.50 lakh liters per hour capacity pressure filters to be maintained properly and kept in working condition with technically skilled personnel. b) Cleaning of Filter Media through back wash pumping and Air Compressors for about one hour daily or more if required. c) Replacement / Servicing / Repairing of all Sluice valves, Non Return Valves, Butter Fly Valves, Pressure gauges etc.
d) Replacement / Repairing of M.S. / C.I / DI / HDPE / CPVC/ GI pipes up to 350 mm dia from filtration to Srivari Pushkarini and kept in good working condition. e) Replacement of Bolts & Nuts regularly. f) Replacement / Repairs to compressor Air pipes, Stainless Steel Strainers inside Filter Media and to verify twice a year or more based on the necessity. g) Removal of total Filter Media to out side and cleaning with chemicals, water and additionally new filter media, if any required as per necessity. The process to be taken up twice in a year or more based on the necessity. h) Painting of Cells, Pipe lines and total premises of Filter House once in a year. i) Removal of damaged CI/ DI / GI pipes and scrap materials to outside Pushkarini and to keep the Pushkarini Filters house clean as directed by the Engineer – in – charge. j) He should also maintain the garden at Srivari Pushkarini filter house. k) Any Welding works/ lathe works should be attended immediately without hampering the smooth running of the system.
3. Air Compressors
1. Chicago Pneumatic Air compressor 150 HP 2. KG Khosla Air compressor 150 HP Maintenance and operation of the Air compressor for around 12 hours or more in day time with skilled persons with required accessories as and when required and replace with new spares.
The firm should also carry out bimonthly servicing for all the air compressors. During servicing of the Compressors the following works shall be carried out. • Changing of Sealing rings, bearing rings, Gland packing rings, secondary oil filter element, SPC 5300 V belts, main bearing, grid end bearing, Gudder pins, suction air filter elements, piston rod HP, blanking nut, spring plates, valve plate, 35 mm dia unloading piston "O" rings, ring returns and other oil scraping rings • Changing of the RLX -79 suction and delivery valve assembling, 105 mm dia valve plate, spring plates, delivery valve cover o rings, gland packing rings, oil scraping rings, secondary oil filter element and c suction 126 V belts for serving of 2 VYDT compressor (small compressor ) of KG Khosla make
4. Mixing of Chemicals-
a) Chlorination - Sodium Hypochlorite (in the range of 1000 kg to 1200 kgs per 1day approx) should be added through 1 No of '15 KL & 1 No 20 KL HDPE tank in SriVari Pushkarini filter house so as to maintain 1.5 to 2.0 PPM or as directed in Sri Vari Pushkarini water standards. b) Maintenance of chemical booster pumps (3Nos) to pump chlorine liquid for uniform distribution in Sri Vari Pushkarini. c) Maintenance of 1 No. of Chemical booster pump to pump chlorine liquid into 10 KL MS tank. d) Arresting of leakages in all PVC / (PE-AL-PE) pipes and from gas cylinders to avoid leakages immediately.
e) Procurement of Chlorine leakage checking chemicals such as Ammonia etc., f) Procurement of safety equipments such as Masks, respirators, canister pipes (gas masks) with I.S.I. make.
g) The chemicals which are required, to be added to keep the Pushkarini in perfect bathing standards and as per recomendations of any expert committee from time to time. h) Sufficient quantity of chemicals should be maintained in the Pushkarini premises at least one month stock shall be available. i) Sodium carbonate (Na2 Co3) is added to adjust the PH such that the PH with in the range of 7 to 7.5. j) Copper sulphate shall be added to the Srivari Pushkarini water in the quantities of 5 kgs per day to keep the water in good condition . k) The other necessary chemicals such as Alum, Bleaching powder, liquid chlorine or other chemicals suggested by the experts time to time shall be procured and utilised as and when required as per conditions of the site.
Laboratory 1) One Qualified technician should assist to carry out analysis of pushkarini water and checking of all the equipments duly upgrading with the latest equipments required for analysis every day. 2) Procuring of Laboratory equipments for routine analysis of PH, Turbidity and residual chlorine and test reports to be sent to the office on the same day. 3) Tests for Algae, bacterial count nutrients, electrical conduction, copper content , BOD, COD content are to be done once in a week and test reports shall be submitted regularly.
5. cleaning of Pushkarini and Watch and ward.
a) Cleaning all surroundings, steps of Pushkarini and platforms to be taken up and should be kept always clean and tidy. b) To remove the unwanted materials from the Pushkarini. c) To remove suspended materials, scum and other waste materials etc, over the surface of water through boats and using collecting mechanism and keep always clean. d) Cleaning of entire pushkarini duly removing total water and cleaning the base and refilling the same before ensuing Srivari Brahmotsavams. ( A minimum of one time or one more time based on exigencies / religious requirment if any ) e) To maintain water levels in Pushkarini during chakrasnanam and other days as per the instructions of the Engineer-in-charge. f) Should maintain the stainless steel grills around Srivari Pushkarini. To replace/ repair the damaged SS pipes including welding of pipes etc., complete. g) Replacement of damaged DI/CI/CPVC pipes and specials and other Civil works as directed by the the Engineer-in-charge. h) To keep one watchman at entrance gate of Pushkarini round the clock. He should open the gates whenever higher officials / VIPS enter the Pushkarini. i) To replace the damaged showers, valves and water taps at Srivari Pushakrini bath rooms, toilets and bathing area.
j) Insisting the pilgirms to wash the foot with chlorinated water pond before entering the pushkarini. k) Guide the pilgrims to avoid (a) usage of soaps ,(b) washing of clothes and ( c) leaving other waste materials in the Srivari Pushkarini to keep Pushkarini clean. l) Insisting the pilgrims to wash their clothes and taking bath before at bathing ghats at out side of Pushkarini. m) Providing necessary nets for surrounding trees to avoid falling of leaves into the pushkarini water. n) To provide sufficient watch and ward (male only) during night shift (one security & one sweeper) inside pushkarini.
Note:- The firm has to procure latest mechanised equipment for cleaning the premises, upgrading the existing laboratory accessories, safety equipments, replacement of spares of pumps and motors etc.,.
The firm should ensure that the unit performs at the rated efficiency levels to attain optimum utilisation and always be in contact with the Engineer-in-charge regarding running of the machinery. The firm should maintain all the records and to produce the same as directed by the Department.
Electrical conditions
1. The incoming supply will be extended to the incoming Electrical panel boards in the respective area by the department. The tenderer is responsible from the Electrical panel to the end of the material. 2. During replacement, the contractor, relays, starter panel materials etc., are to be with same make and model. 3.All the panel boards must be cleaned once in a month and keep the panel in good condition. 4.The tenderer must engage qualified I.T.I (Electrical) or certified wireman who was registered with A.P.Electrical Inspectors.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
Note: (1) The rate quoted per month is for the above with all ancillary machinery like pumps, motors and starters and other pipe line repairs along pumping lines.etc., inclusive of ESI, EPF and all other taxes and excluding GST. (2). The tenderer has to maintain 1 (One) cell phone at Srivari Pushkarini for better interaction on water supply situation at his own cost for informing the authorities. (3) The contractor should submit the daily reports, consumption register of chemicals and materials regularly.
1.1. The contractor shall employ the required Key personnel to carry out the functions stated in the Schedule.
1.2. The Technical personnel should be on full time and available at site whenever required by Engineer in Charge to take instructions. The Technical personnal employed shall be with suitable qualification and experence in maintenance of similar work.
1.3. The names of the technical personnel to be employed by the contractor should be furnished.
1.4. The contractor should provide Uniform and Bus Passes to the working staff at his own cost.
1.5. The contractor should employ Hindus only and they should have faith in Lord Venkateswara.
1.6. If the Engineer-In-Charge asks the contractor to remove a person who is a member of contractor’s staff or his work force stating the reasons, the contractor shall ensure that the person leaves the site forthwith and has no further connection with the work in the contract. 1.7 All the above activities shall be logged in appropriate register and duly getting verification from water works/ electrical engineers at regular frequent intervals. 1.8 All the spares including rewinding / replacement of motors, pumps, electrical spare parts should be replaced immediately without effecting the smooth running of the system. 1.9 The tenderer should procure materials for operation and maintenance such as MS, DI, CI pipes and specials, rubber rings, lead, bolts and nuts, valves with spares, winding of motors, pumps, workshop works, mechanical and electrical spares each spare part costing upto Rs.50,000/- . The replacement of wornout / burnout parts shall be as per the existing make and model.
2. Contractor’s Risks:
2.1 All risks of loss of or damage to physical property and of personnel injury and death, which arise during and in consequence of the performance of the contract are the responsibility of the contractor.
3. Insurance: The contractor shall maintain at his own cost personal accident insurance for his own staff to cover any risk arising from the work and services to be performed under the agreement.
. Accident or Injury to the Workmen: The contractor shall be solely liable for any accident or injury that may happen to any of the personnel engaged by him in connection with the contract work according to respective contracts. The TTD shall not be liable for or in respect of any damage or compensation payable at law in respect of or inconsequence of any accident or injury to any personnel in the employment of the contractor and the contractor shall indemnify and keep indemnify the TTD against all such claims, damages, compensations and proceedings. The contractor shall forthwith report to departmental officer, all cases of accidents to any of the personnel/workmen and shall make every arrangement to render all possible assistance and aid to the victims of accident.
The Contractor shall pay the wages as per the Proceeding of Roc No.TTD-88021 (31)/2/2023-COC-TTD, dt.02.01.2024 ad detailed below. 1) For skilled workers wages = Rs.18,500/- + EPF & ESI 2) For Semiskilled & unskilled workers wages = Rs.15,000/- + EPF&ESI and as amended from time to time. 3) The Contractor shall strictly adhere to the statutory regulations viz., Enhanced Wages of TTD Board of Trustees Resolution, PF Act, ESI scheme, Insurance & other regulations covering labour contract. If failure of the contractor on the above, TTD shall reserve the right to take appropriate civil and criminal action against the concerned contractor and consequently the Agreement / MOU shall also be liable for cancellation apart from forfieture of EMD and Security Deposit.
5. Employees Provident Fund Act: The contractor shall comply with provisions of the “Employees” Provident Fund Act 1952, and the scheme framed there under in so far as they are applicable to his establishment. The contractor is further required to indemnify the TTD against any loss or damage, whatsoever that may be suffered by the TTD in compliance on his part with provisions of the aforesaid act and scheme framed there under. The contracting agency / person should pay his part of E.P.F contribution along with wages every month. It is the responsibility of the contractor / agency to pay the E.P.F contribution along with the contribution of his employees to the commissioner of E.P.F. The Contractor should pay timely applicable minimum wages variable dearness allowence, EPF & ESI throughout the contract period.
6. Care of Work:
From the commencement of the work to the completion of the work, the contractor shall take full responsibility for the care of TTD property and equipment. In case any damage or loss shall happen to TTD property and equipment from any cause whatsoever, the contractor at his own cost shall replace and make good the same.
1) Water & Power will be supplied by TTD free of cost for operation and maintenance of the above scheme.
2) The tenderer has to maintain cell phones/ hand sets at every location for proper communication daily.
3) (i) The Income tax @2% plus cess @2% on IT or as inforce will be deducted from the running bills of the contractor.
(ii) The offer quoted is inclusive of all taxes (excluding GST) etc., complete.
4) No accommodation facilities will be provided, his own arrangements shall be made.
5) The tenderer has to procure at his cost the necessary cleaning materials, chemicals such as soda lime, copper sulphate etc., as per requirement and stock at site as per standared and submit the test certificates to the dept
6) The tenderer should procure all the miscellaneous repair items such as MS/GI/CPVC/DI/Motor and pump spares and specials, pipes etc., at his own cost.
7) Keeping in view of the above conditions, the tenderer has to workout and quote his price.
8) No escalation of rates on Whatsoever reasons will be paid to the contractor.
9) Preventive maintenance of starers/ pumps/ Motors/ Battery/ Panel Board must be taken from authorised service agency of equipment and it will be at the cost of tenderer.
10) All the above activities shall be logged in appropirate registers and duly getting verfied from water works/ electrical engineers at regular frequent intervals. 11) The contractor shall inspect the workspot understand the system, indications and then quote appropriatly.
