DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

Demolition of brick work / precast concrete block walling built in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size bricks straight or curved on plan exc. 6.00 m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L 15 mm thick cement plaster on other than fair faces of brick/block work or concrete surface on wall in CM 1:4 finished fair and even complete all as specified and directed.

M & L three coat of white wash on walls including preparation of new plastered surface and complete all as specified.

Dismantling wall and ceiling board / AC board (fibre, pulp, insulation etc) or insulation board/ slabs/ blanket, any thickness, any position including cover fillets complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 6mm thick Plywood, grade BWR, type BB, fixed in ceiling and walling fixed with screws to timber frame work complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling timber scantling 40sq.cm and over in section in any position for unframed work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 2nd class hard wood as in scantling clean sawn framed & fixed as in ceiling and walling works complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling timber in fillets,rails posts ,rafters,purlins etc under 40 Sq.cm in section all as specified and directed.

M&L for IInd class hard wood plain fillets squaree or rectangular in section clean sawn secured with nails sectional area exc 13 sqcm and n.exc 25 sqcm complete all as specified and directed

M&L IInd class hard wood plain fillets square or rectangular in section clean sawn but bull nosed chamfared or rounded on one edge or face sectional area exc 3 sqcm and n.exc 6sqcm secured with nails complete all as specified and directed

M&L for two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of pink primer on newly prepared wooden surface of any description ,not otherwise description over 10cm width or girth including preparation of new surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for one coat of creasote oil to wooden surfaces new or old of any description including prepration of surfaces complete all as specified and directed

Dismantling of plain or corrugated steel sheeting any gauge/thickness in roof covering etc, complete all as specified and directed

S&F in for 0.63mm thick Galvanised, corrugated mild steel sheeting with two corrugations side lap, fixed with coach screws and washers, in roofs, walls etc. with grade of zinc coating 275 and fixed with `J' or `L' hooks including with washers as in roof covering, wall etc. complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in for 0.63mm thick Galvanised, plain mild steel sheeting in ridges, hips, valley, gutter fixed with 'J' or 'L' type or cranked hook bolts class 8 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Pre-painted Trapezoidal profile galvalume aluminium zinc coating steel sheet (Make: Tata bluescope/ Jindal ) 0.50mm thick (base metal thickness) of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa minimum yield strength conforming to IS - 513 (1994) coated with hot dip alloy of 55% aluminium + 43.50%Zinc +1.50% silicon and finished with resin coat ( of thickness not less than 35 micron) on both surface @150gm/sqm of coating (total both surfaces) of approved colour as in roof covering/cladding, fixed with self tapping screws (make hilty/fissers), neoprene and epdm washers class 3 of AS-3566(5.5-14X5 for crest and 5.5-14X25 for valley fixed) with 150mm end lap and one corrogation side lap whereever required penetrations and lap in sheet shall be sealed by using proper sealant profile/HDPE fillers shall be provided whereever required to close voids between sheets and fastners etc. as in roof covering/ cladding in straight or curved surface in any height complete all as specified and directed. Note : The colour of sheet for bldg shall be approved by GE.

Ditto all as per Item No. 16 above but for plain sheet as in roof ridges/clading to wall etc. complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Mild steel roof truss (framed), trussed, purlins, cranes gantries, rails and fastening (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) including necessary cutting, welding, bending, reviting, (Fe-290 Gde E-165) distance pieces etc.and similar works complete all as specified and directed.

S & F mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, n exc 4cm long of dia 11 to 15mm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L Preparation of new steel or iron surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer all as specified
