Maintenance of Earhen shoulder (stripping of excess soil) Stripping excess soil from the shoulder surface to achieve the approved level and compacting with plate compactor at OMC as per drawings and Technical Specification Clause 1903

Maintenance of Drains-The maintenance of drains include erosion, repair, clearing, cleaning, reshaping,regrading, deepening of side drains as well as catch water drains as per technicalspecification Clause 1907.

Surface Drains in Soil -Construction of unlined surface drains of average cross-sectional area 0.40 sqm in soil to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions. Excavated material to be used in embankment with a lift upto 3m and lead of 50 m (average lead 25 m) as per Technical Specification Clause 307.

WBM Grading 3- Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, crushable screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 3 as per Technical Specification Clause 405.By Mannual Means

Medium porosity-Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.90- 1.2 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502.

Tack coat using VG-10 grade bitumen. Over dry and hungry bituminous surfaces @0.40 kg/sqm

Bituminous Macadam-Providing and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous binder,transported to site upto a lead of 1000 m laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 504.(Bitumen VG-10 @ 3.3% of the weight of mix has been used for analysis purpose.The choice of bitumen will depend upon the prevailing site conditions and shall be in accordance with Clause 504 of MORD) with Bitumen VG-10

Providing and laying Semi Dense Bituminous Concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.5% of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site,laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRTH specification clause No. 508 complete in all respects. Grading II - 10mm using VG - 10 bitumen

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.

Road Delineators / Vertical Guide Posts: Supply and fixing of MS delineators 1000 mm long , having a diameter of 75 mm and thickness 4mm and having atleast 3 different colour strips of 75 mm wide Type IV retroreflective tape around the black painted pole attached with 150 mm x 25 mm x 6 mm MS flats welded at bottom to be fixed in M15 concrete base as directed by the Engineer in Charge as per IRC: 79 (Recommended Practice for Road Delineators) and Clause no. 806 of MORTH specifications..

Providing and fixing of corrosion resistant 2mm thick Type IV retroreflective cautionary, mandatory, informatory sign board with 7 year warranty as per IRC:67, made of high intensity sheeting fixed over ACP (Aluminium Composite Panel) 3 mm thick (including framing and bracing with fabrication, plotting, pasting, riveting, taping and nut, bolts, washers and rivets etc for fixing), supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing, issued in original by retro-reflective sheeting manufacturer having operations in India by their indian subsidary.
