SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I: E/M WORKS

Material and labour in repairs for point wiring with 1.5 Sqmm PVC insulated and unsheathed copper cable 1100V, FRLS grade multistranded drawn in and including suitable size PVC conduit totally concealed/surface conduit in walls/ceiling with tee , bend, elbows , junction box etc. with provision of PVC insulated 1.5 sqmm copper conductor cable as earth continuity including not less than 1.0mm thick prefabricated galvanised boxes with white modular cover plate of suitable size for fixing modular switches, sockets regulator and connected the earth wire to common earth dolly for One light/fan point/bell point/5 Amp indepentent board controlled by one switch complete incl taking down the exisitng all as specified and as directed. Note:-(i) The quoted rate shall includes all the cost of cutting, chasing, cementing work to the disturbed and making all the disturbed surfaces of wall / ceiling good to match the existing wall / ceiling along with same colour.

Excavation in trenches not exc.1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil for laying of cable complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified

Removing excavated surplus soils meterial not exc.50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified.

Material and labour for natural river sand as cushioning of cables, including spreading and punning down complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge. Note : punned thickness shall be measured for payment purpose

Supply and laying in trenches Bricks common burnt clay building bricks, sub-class ‘B’ designation 75 laid perpendiculat to the trench for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed

Note (a) The rate quoted by the tenderer for item Ser No.01 to 89 above shall deemed to be inclusive for the following provisions in addition to the other conditions specified in the tender documents. No claim whatsoever shall be entertained at a later date on this account:- (i) Though the time period for completion of contract will be as specified in CA/work order, yet due to exigency of electrical related items emergency/priority works must be completed (within 24 Hours) on getting information through SMS/E-mail regarding the nature of repair to be carried out he shall immediately respond the same and make all out efforts to carry out the same on priority within 24 hours. In case of any delay in responding/ attending the repairs within 48 hours, the GE may at his absolute discretion impose penalty on the contractor at Rs 100/- per day per each work upto 05 (Five) days and Rs 200/- per day there after till completion of the work. Incase of delay without valid reasons as decided by GE.

(ii) Further, the above penalty is applicable even for the multiple works at multiple locations of work at the same period. It is responsiblity of contractor to make suitable arrangement for attending the repairs simultaneously at all the places. (iii) The decision of the GE as to weather of particular repair has been attended or not on a particular day will be final and binding. The above penality shall be in addition to the provisions made in clause 50 of IAFW-2249 i.e. (Compensation for delay in completion of work). Note (b) :- Tenderers/ Bidders are advised to visit the site and quote the rate accordingly.
