| 0.00Notes: 1. Before quoting, the bidder shall visit the site and make himself familiar with the site, nature, conditions and quantum / scope of work involved. You may contact Head, Construction & Engineering Services Group (Contact No: 040-27776 224/333) for site visit. 2. The rates quoted shall include cost of all materials, labour, loading charges, unloading charges of feeder pillars, transportation, hoisting, tools, tackles & installation including all taxes (except EPF &ESI) and other charges if any. No extra payment over and above the rate quoted shall be made to the contractor in this respect. 3. The workers employed for the work shall strictly follow all safety measures as stated in safety code of this tender and also as per DAE safety code. 4.The Contractor shall adhere to the provisions of applicable labour laws such as Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970, Minimum Wages Act, 1948, Employees State Insurance Act, Equal Remuneration Act, 1970 and rules made there under. 5.Contractor has to pay minimum wages, EPF & ESI to the manpower deployed for the work as per state/ central government orders issued from time to time. The actual amount paid towards EPF & ESI shall be reimbursed to him by the Department after satisfying that it has been actually and genuinely paid by the contractor. The bidder should not consider EPF & ESIC in his rates. 6. The contractor shall ensure that all the persons executing the electricalwork have valid electrical license. 7. The washrooms are functional. Thus, all the washrooms shall not be handed over for renovation at a time. Renovation plan shall be decided in line with the civil renovation works. 8.20. As the work required to be executed in office premises, there should be minimum inconvenience to the working officials. The work shall be programmed in consultation with the Engineer-in-charge & the contractor who is executing civil renovation works. If so required, the work may have to be done even before and after office hours. No compensation shall be paid for loss of labour due to unavailability of flats/ site in any circumstances. | ||||
