Note for item No.1 to 4:- (i) Cleaning the sorroundings of the pumps and replacing gland packing, greasing periodicaly for smooth functioning of the pumps, Keeping daily record of pumpsets running hrs all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge is contractor's responsilbility. The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of (a) Keeping neat and clean of complete installation area by grass cutting and removing the debris in & around premises upto 1.5 m from installation Bldg. (b) Keeping daily record of Pumps / DD Pumps running hrs all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge . (c) Carrying out A check of Pumps / DD Pumps daily as per Manufacturer's manual. (d) Replacing of distilled water / battery electrolyte and charging of batteries as when required. (e) The installation will be handed over in operating staff on the commencement of contract through work order. (f) The operator shall ensurereadiness of DD Pump by doing trial run everyday and be alert to run the same whenever required / power failure.

(g) Diesel shall be issued by department as and when required as directed by EIC. The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of transporation of Diesel from store yard to work site. (h) Contractor shall have to intimate minimum 03 days in advance for issue of diesel under Sch ‘B’. (j) The quoted rate is inclusive collecting and transportation of Sch “B” items from store yard of AGE E/M to work site, loading of diesel in the fuel tank regular checking of engine oil, battery electrolyte and radiator water level and rectifying minor defects such as Engine Air lock, tightening of loose bolts and nuts etc, which may develop during operation and relative parameters all as specified.

(ii) Before commencement of work the contractor shall submit the list of manpower to be employed as per requiste qualifications specified in particular specification for approval of GE duly recomended by Engineer-in- charge.

M & L for arresting water leakage from sluice valve of 80 mm bore, by refacing, regrinding of sluice Valve, Repacking stuffing box of sluice valve spindle including taking apart and reassembling the same including replacing old check nuts with new one made out of MS / CI material, with and including replacing perished gland packing, rubber gasket, bolts and nuts complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and replacement of gun metal gate valve of size 25 mm dia, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends, class II, and fixed complete including cutting of the pipeline and taking down old unserviceable valves wherever required all as complete directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Jungle / Area Cleaning by using JCB / BOBCAT for removing bushes / thick vegetation around the pump house, installations, along the pipelines to find out the leakages, levelling the area without damaging the pipelines / Cable network / Pedestals of pipelines / buildings including disposal of the vegetation / debris material up to a distance not exceeding 50 m complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for painting of monoblock / Centrifugal pump set of 3 HP to 25 HP with a coat of approved colour paint including inlet & outlet pipe lines over a coat of red oxide primer on rusted parts complete including preparation of old painted surface and writing MES number all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for cleaning and removing mud / sediment from valve chambers of size not more than 1 Cum capacity and depositing where directed including cleaning the chamber cover frame etc complete all as specified and directed
