And conveying, laying, cutting (using cutters), fixing, welding, grinding, jointing (push on/flanged joints/lead caulked joints), testing, commissioning, maintaining the distribution network (PVC/DI/GI pipes/valves and specials) according to the alignment, including dismantling and disposing RR/concrete structures, culvert/retaining wall, cutting the bituminous / concrete roads with cutting machine for pipe lines manually / by mechanical means, other hurdles on the alignment and reconstructing the same after construction as per direction of the departmental officers in charge, including excavating trenches in all kinds of soil, ordinary rock, medium rock (Blasting prohibited) and refilling the trenches with contractor's own earth ( excluding rock) after laying with consolidating each layer, fencing, open timbering, providing anchor blocks/guide blocks wherever necessary (164nos. or required No.) using RCC mix 1:2:4 including centering and shuttering including strutting, etc. and removal of form etc., taking connection from the existing pipe line by using PVC/MS/CI Saddle or TEE from 40mm to 350mm PVC/DI pipes including all charges etc. complete for the satisfactory completion of the work as per the direction of departmental officers in charge and scope of work. Construction of Valve chambers - (116Nos. or required No.) - Construction of valve chambers of suitable size including earth work excavation in all kinds of soil, providing and laying in position cement concrete in CC 1:3:6, RCC in CC 1:1.5:3 for cover slab, RCC in CC 1:2:4 for base slab,side wall, including centering, shuttering, strutting, propping, removal of form etc. complete, cost of steel reinforcement of TMT grade Fe-500D or more including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding etc. for RCC works, Plastering 12mm thick the side walls,cover slab with cement mortar 1:4 etc. complete required for the satisfactory completion of the work as per the direction of departmental officers in charge and scope of work.
Providing House Connections - 13576Nos. - Providing 15mm/20mm house connection with 15mm (1/2 inch) water meter from existing PVC /HDPE mains up to 200 mm dia., up to a length of 5 m using 20mm/25mm Indian Standard Class 6 uPVC pipe and uPVC / GM / Brass specials viz. brass ferrule, GM full way wheel valve, Elbow, MTA, FTA, couplers, PVC Service Saddle of suitable size etc. and connecting with the mains, testing the joints etc. complete including trenching and refilling in all kinds of soil, including the cost of tested Class B Multijet water meter with ISI mark and weather resistant PP / PE meter box of minimum size 300mm x 200mm x 150mm for laying connection pipe and service pipe, fixing water meter, lighting, watching, providing caution boards, traffic control etc. complete including cost of all materials and labour charges etc., Providing and laying additional length of house connection pipe using 20mm Indian Standard Class 6 uPVC pipe - 67880m. and specials and testing the joints etc., by trenching and refilling in all kinds of soil including all charges, Providing 15mm PVC Tap - 13576nos in the water meter assembly for 15mm connection, using 20mm Indian Standard Class 6 uPVC pipes and specials including cost of all materials and labour charges, Providing 20mm (1/2 inch) PVC Air Valve - 13576nos. in the water meter assembly for 15mm connection, using 20mm Indian Standard Class 6 uPVC pipes and specials including cost of all materials and labour charges etc. complete including excavating trenches in all kinds of soil and refilling the trenches after laying with consolidating each layer, construction of granular sub-base by providing graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401. Grading-V - For sub base cum drainage layer - Mix in Place Method, cost for Geo tagging and documentation for undertaking, KWA connection charges etc. complete for the satisfactory completion of the work as per the direction of departmental officers in charge and scope of work. Contractor has to remit KWA department charges for each FHTC to the KWA office.
Construction of Steel Bridge (72m. Tentative) - Construction of steel bridge including constructing ring bund of top width 2.00 m, bottom width 4.00 m and height 3.00 m by using earth filled cement bag on both faces, earth work excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) /manual means in foundation trenches in all kinds of soil and refilling the trenches after work for column foundation, providing and laying in position cement concrete in CC 1:3:6 for foundation, Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-25 grade for combined footing, column, brace, beam, centering and shuttering including strutting, etc. and removal of form etc., cost of steel reinforcement of TMT grade Fe-500D or more including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding etc. for RCC works, plastering 12mm thick for the column, brace, beam with cement mortar 1:4 etc., finishing walls with water proofing cement paint with two or more coats of required shade, structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded together including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer etc. all complete for the satisfactory completion of the work as per the direction of departmental officers in charge, approved design and scope of work.
