Excavation in foundation and trenches in earth work upto all depth in all kinds of soil such as pick work jumper work, blasting work, chiselling of soft /hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all leads and lifts and including trimming of sides levelling of bed to correct grade stacking the excavated soil in 15cm.layers when required into plinth sides of foundation including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil as directed in all leads including lifts and soring/strutting timbering and dewatering where ever required as per thr direction and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Laying, jointing and testing in trenches (to level or grade) of GMS pipes jointed with 1% joint flanged & remaining butt weld 99% joints of below diametre conforming to IS 1239-1990 (Part - I) with latest upto date amendments of grade and wall thickness as specified below, suitable to withstand required hydraulic test pressure in randum length 4m-6m with plain ends and jointed with MS Flanges conforming to IS 6392-1971(Latest upto date amendments) and welding of flanges as per IS 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS 814-1991 including required number and size of MS nuts and bolts as per IS 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fibre jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3.00 mm in thickness as per IS 2712-1998. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers to make the joints leak proof and to entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.The laying of pipes conform to IS 5822-1994 and as per CPHEEO manual and will include all operations such as cutting, welding and jointing including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respect. Excavation in trench, providing & welding of M.S. Flanges and butt welded joint shall be measured and paid for seperately. (Labour rate)

Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches bevelled ended BIS marked GMSERW pipes of various grade fully Butt welded conforming to IS/ISO:3183-2007, L210 or A of below mentioned grade in item as per dimensions, weight and test pressure mentioned there in code (mill tolerances to be restricted within 3%) in random lengths of 6 to 7 mtrs including the cost of fabrication of bends by butt welding from parent tube as required at site. The welded joints and welding of pipe will be down as per IS:816-1969 with electrodes as per IS:814-1991 of make Adwani/Orelon (Adore)/ESAB. The laying & jointing of pipe should conform to IS:5822-1994 (earth work in trenches and butt welded joints except in bends to be measured and paid for separatly) The pipes and specials shall have out side coating with galvanised as per BIS 4736, the galvanisation is done by the manufacturing firm itself complete in all respect as per direction and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. Providing and welding M.S. flanges @ 1% of joints conforming to following Table at suitable point, conforming to IS 6392-1971 (Latest with upto date amendments) with plain end GMS/MSERW pipe in requsite number of layers on both faces to make the joint leak proof The welding of flanges should conform to IS:816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1364. including cost of gasket sheet nuts & bolts. Providing and fixing double flanged 125 mm piping work layout to be approved by the Engineer-in-Charge for suction and delivery pipes suitable to pump(s) offered and common header as per the rising main respectively complete with all specials such as bends ,tees reducers/ increasers with companion flanges matching with the relevant specifications of the accessories as indicated in the drawing No.2 including rubber/asbestos gasket of minimum 3mm thickness as per IS 2712-1979 and required number of nuts and volts as per IS: 1364-1983. The pipes shall be as per relevant IS Code and to withstand 1.5 times total head stipulated under item No.1.

The size of the various components to be as under:-

(i) Suction pipe 125 mm dia Min. length = 15 mtr.

(ii) Delivery pipe 80 mm dia -do- = 5 mtr.

(iii) Common Header 100 mm dia -do- = 10 mtr.

and will extend up to 5 meters from the outer wall of the pump house in the direction to be jointed.

Providing and laying copper PVC insulated armoured power cable ( one cable carrying all the three phases) of suitable size and capacity to and all other electrical equipments as per IS: 1554 (P-I)1988 or latest with upto date amendments of Siemens/ IEC/ICC/GICO/Grandly/National make including all other accessories such as thimbles, flexible, pipes solder, nuts and bolts, cable glands etc. laid in pipes or trenches under floor.

Providing and fixing double loop earthing and G.I. plate 600 mm x 600mm x 3mm thick electrode complete with material such as thimbles, nuts and bolts, charcoal and common salt, 32 mm x 3_mm G.I. strips & G.I. wire as per IS: 3043 -1987 with up to date amendments for motors and other electrical equipments and digging of pits etc. complete in all respect.

Supply of submersible pump of KSB /Calama/Johnston/SU/Kirloskar make conforming to BIS: 8034-1976 or latest suitable for lifting Water (latest with upto date ammendments) fitted with bronze impellers/ suitable alloye. The pump should be fitted with free flow impellers of bronze/suitable alloys directly coupled to squirrell case electric induction motor of same make as (manufacturer standard) conforming to BIS: 9283-1979 (latest with upto date ammendments ) and totally water prrof for submersible duty, isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber, grease packed lubricated bearing & provided with stainless steel thrut bearing plate to with stand vertical loads with minimum wear & tear. Supply of PVC joint less flat water proof cable as per IS: 694-1990 latest with upto date amendments suitable for the pump sets offered from CB to motor including all other electrical equipment / accessories such as thimbles, flexible pipes solder, nuts and bolts, cable glands etc laid in pipes of trenches under floor. The type, size and make will be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities & in case of non acceptance by HPSEB authorities it shall have to be replaced by tender.

Providing and laying double loop earthing with G.I. wire & G.I plate complete with material such as charcoal, common salt, GI. Pipes, thimbles, nuts and bolts, digging of pits, GI. Wiring and aluminum strips of required capacity conforming to BIS: 3043-1987 latest with upto date amendments for above motors and other electrical equipment’s.

Supply of standard make circular dial pressure gauge 0-16 kg/cm2 range of feibig make with all accessories such s stop cock, copper tubing etc, conforming to IS: 3624-1987 latest with upto date amendments.

Providing and laying delivery pipe 125 mm dia. and common header 150 mm dia Heavy class as per IS:-1239-2004 Part-I jointed with MS flanges of table -5 as per IS: 6392-1971 (upto a length of 10 mtrs ) including rappers, flanges, rubber gaskets, nuts and bolts and specials upto 5 mtrs away from the outer wall of pump houses/well as per layout drawings approved by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply of floor/wall mounted power factor shunt capacitor conforming to BIS: 2834-1986 latest with upto date amendments L&T make to raise the prevailing power factor at site to 0.95 for direct connection to induction motor individually of suitable rating each including cable of siemens/Gloster/ICC make form bus bar chamber to capacitor and also including L&T/LK/Kilburn make ICTP switches conforming to IS – 4064 (Part - II) 1978 or latest with HRC fuses (range to be specified by the tendrerer).
