Taking down existing tar felt and plastering from the roof surface washing down and cleaning the surface with water and rubbish off the premises and M&L 10-15mm thick cement plaster (1:4) for levelling and finishing existing surface and over laying water proofing treatment on top surfaces of roof after cleaning of roof surfaces with water and filling cracks with sealing compound and dried top surface of roof. Apply a coat of cold bituminous primer @ 0.30 liter per Sqm and followed by a layer of APP polymer modified five layered water proofing membrane 3mm thick weight not less than 3.60 Kg/Sqm with non woven polyester reinforcement (M/s STP Texsa Ltd or M/s IWL (I) Ltd or M/s STP Ltd.The APP membrane shall be laid with LPG connected torch method. A layer of hot blown bitumen grade 85/25 @ 1.20 Kg/Sqm and a layer of bituminous aluminum paint as final finish @ 0.20 Kg/Sqm shall be applied on top surfaces of APP membrane, Application including overlap, side lap shall be provided as per manufacturer instructions and as specified and directed. The side lap and end laps should have overlap of 75mm to 100mm and should be thermo fused together so that it forms a single sheet through out complete all as specified and as directed.
