Providing services of Third-Party Quality Assurance (TPQA) of Civil Component) for Construction of BARC Township Anudurga at Kudhapura, Challakere, Chitradurga, Karnataka. SH: Construction of 24 Nos Type-III, 24 Nos Type-IV, 8 Nos Type-V quarters, Health Centre and Amphitheatre including internal water supply, installations, drainage, internal and external electrical installations, Firefighting and Fire alarm system, Lifts, DG set, STP and Development and Bulk Services.

Providing Third Party Quality Assurance (TPQA) services for Civil Works related to the above mentioned works for BARC Township “Anudurga” at Kudhapura, Challakere, Chitradurga, Karnataka. The scope includes independent quality verification of materials and workmanship; witnessing and review of mandatory field and lab tests; monitoring implementation of the approved QAP; verification of site registers, calibration records, and workmanship across all civil activities such as RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishes. TPQA shall assist in NDT (Rebound Hammer, UPV, core tests), site safety compliance, review of as-built drawings, snag list preparation, TPQA Inspections and handover documentation and periodic inspection by senior expert having Ph.D in Civil engineering domain of the rank of Professor from a reputed engineering institution, or not below the rank equivalent to Executive Engineer (EE) of a Government Department, or a Senior QA/QC Engineer with B.E./B.Tech and at least 15 years of experience, shall visit the site once every Two months, or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. All observations and reports shall be digitally recorded using web/mobile-based platforms, in accordance with CPWD Specifications, QA Manual 2022, BIS/IRC/MoRTH codes, and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The quantity shall be taken as the actual value of Civil works executed by the main contractor during the currency of the contract, excluding planning and design charges. The rate shall be quoted as a percentage (%) of the executed value of Civil works. Payment towards deployment of full-time Quality Control Engineer/ Technical Staff shall be made separately under Item No. 1.2 as per the quoted monthly rates and will not be included in this item.

Deployment of full-time Quality Control Engineer / Technical Personnel (Civil) possessing a degree in Civil Engineering (BE/BTech) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant field experience in QA/QC works. The deployed personnel shall be responsible for daily onsite supervision, inspection of civil construction activities, witnessing of sampling and testing, verification of workmanship, record maintenance, and implementation of the approved Quality Assurance Plan (QAP). The personnel shall also capture and upload quality observations, test data, and site photographs through the mobile or web-based quality assurance platform approved by CPWD. Deployment shall be made strictly as per the requirements of the tender and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The rate for this item shall be quoted in Indian Rupees (₹) on a “per month per person” basis, and payment shall be made accordingly based on actual deployment.
