SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I: B/R WORKS

Site clearance all as directed.

Surface dressing n. Exc 15 cm deep in hard/dense soil all as directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars etc., and disposal of unserviceable materials, debris and rubbish as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

M&L walling of random rubble , uncoursed , well bonded , bedded and solidly heared built in cm 1:6 all as specified and directed.

Extra over stone walling of 40 mm thick for hammer dressing to face stone and dressing of face beds and joints as specified of random rubble walling uncoursed or brought upto course all as specified and dircted.

Racking out joints / pointing torandom rubble or polygonal rubble uncoursed or brought upto courses in cement mortar all as specified and directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cum getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n exc 50m and making good surface and getting out in hard/dense soil.

Plain cement concrete type D2, 1:4 :8 (40mm graded stone aggregate) in foundations, fillings and mass concrete.

Plain cement concrete type D2, 1:2 :4 (40mm graded stone aggregate) in foundations, fillings and mass concrete.

Providing Precast RCC (1:2:4) type B1 using (20 mm graded aggregate ) in precast post , fencing post, straining or terminal post , struts etc for fencing average sectional area n exc 250 sq.cm with or without chamferd angles and flat , splayed and rounded or mitred tops all as specified and directed. columns, pillars , piers, post and struts etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Mild steel TMT bars 5 mm to 10 mm dia., cut to length, bent to shape required, in stirrups, spacers and binders and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia., or securing with clips.

M & L for form work to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions square, or rectangular with rough finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified 7 directed.

S& F Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins etc as directed.

M&L Preparing newly plastered or unplastered wall surfaces and applying two coats of cement base paint over one coat of white wash complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Plain cement concrete type B0, (1:2:4) (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) cast in situ in cills and other similar bands, plinth courses, parapets, copings, hold fast, bed plates and the like including use and waste of form work, weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as required.
