Civil works in connection with Renting out of TE Building at Wadakkanchery

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

a)1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)

b) 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Providing and Laying Precast Machine Moulded Cement concrete solid Blocks in Block Masonry of specified thickness with Blocks of grade C95) with minimum compresssive strength of 5N/mm2 and block density not less than 1800Kg/Cum conforming to IS:2185 nominal size 400x200x200mm in cement concrte 1:4:8 ( 1cement ; 4Coarse Sand ( Crushed Stone sand ) -: 8 graded stone aggregate 12mm nominal size ) with cement mortar 1:6 (1cement : 6 Coarse Sand ( Crushed Stone sand ) -) including scaffolding,raking out joints and filling the joints with cement mortar ,finishing neatly etc.complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. a) In Cement Mortar 1:6 ( 1cement : 6 Coarse Sand -CC Solid block masonry : i) All Works above plinth level

Providing and laying Ceramic glazed floor tiles, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement :4 Coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg/sqm including pointing the joints with white cement and matching pigment etc.,., complete.

Providing and fixing PVC flooring sheets in flooring and skirting in approved pattern on a smooth and damp proof base using rubber based adhessives of approved quality and manufacture like Dunlop S - 758 , Fevicol SR 998 or equivalent , copper strip and other materials required at site including rolling with light wooden roller weighing about 5 Kg all complete as directed by the Engineer - in - charge in approved colour and shade (1 mm thick). (The rate includes the cost of materials , labour other materials required and transportation to various locations etc. complete.)

Providing and fixing plain multipurpose cement board(Hight pressure steam cured) with suitable screws for cement particle board in ceiling etc. complete (frame work to be paid seperatately).

6 mm thick Cement fiber board, Type-B, Category-III as per IS: 14862 : 2000

12 mm cement plaster of mix :

a)1:6 (1 cement: 6 fine sand)

15 mm cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of mix :

30 mm thick plain PVC door shutters.

Wall painting with premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre. of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour of area upto 400 m2a) One coat. .

b)Two coats area upto 200m2.

Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content.

a) With water thinnable cement primer on wall surface having VOC content less than 50 grams/litre

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade :

One or more coats on old work.

Fixing available aluminium work for partitions doors with available tubular sections/appropriate Z sections and other sections fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle,providing new Aluminium snap beading wherever necessary for fixing available glazing / available paneling, new C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-harge.

With cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 coarse sand).

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge..

Dismantling steel work manually/ by mechanical means in built up sections without dismembering and stacking within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge

Dismantling aluminium/ Gypsum partitions, doors, windows, fixed glazing and false ceiling including disposal of unserviceable material and stacking of serviceable material with in 50 meters lead as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Sorting and Transportation of aluminium sections,particle board and glazing etc complete including loading,transportation upto 20km, unloading and stacking at the site as per the direction of Engineer in Charge.

Dismantling platform of approximate size 6.5 X 6.0 having height upto 60 cm with cement concretye top and filled with earth / sand including disposing the dismantled materials within the compound as directed by Engineer in charge complete. The rate includes all cost for dismantling transporting and disposing within the compound as per the direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing white vitreous china pedestal type water closet (European type W.C. pan) with seat and lid, 10 litre low level white P.V.C. flushing cistern, including flush pipe, with manually controlled device (handle lever), conforming to IS : 7231, with all fittings andfixtures complete, including cutting and making good the walls and floors wherever required :
