od320737/2021_2022 :Amount payable by bidder for removing the accumulateds sand/silt from the river bed as is where is condition from the demarcated area using while strictly adhering to the safety conditions . The sand so removed shall not be deposited in Irrigation land/river bank so that the sand should not reenter in to the river course. The removed sand can be disposed of by the bidder commercially. The sand removal shall be carried out under the following conditions: 1. The sand has to be excavated using mechanical means(hydraulic excavator/dredger/grab), manual means over an area exceeding 30cm depth, 1.5m width as well as 10sqm in plan. Collection and conveying of river sand(dry/wet) as is where is condition. 2. The bidder can dispose the collected sand by selling or for his own use including required loading, conveyance, unloading and the desilted materials must be transported from the project area immediately after its removal and measurement of individual lorry/tippers for assessment of quantity in cum. 3. (The total payable quantiy is based on tipper measurement and level measurement which ever is greater) The excavated area where sand is removed need to be neatly dressed and neatly levelled as per the requirement and as per the directions of KIIDC officials at site. 4. The sand removal and subsequent operations shall not in any way adversely affect the banks or any other existing structures in this reach. 5. The excavation shall be limited to the approved bed level within the boundary and zones marked by the KIIDC and based on approved cross sections. 6. Excavation adjacent to banks and other structures shall be under the close monitoring of the KIIDC officials. 7. The rate shall be quoted per m3 of desilted naterial payable to KIIDC. Fees/tax/statutory royality etc to be paid by the bidder to the relevant departments of Government and the tender conditions accompanying with this bid. 8. The contractor has to arrange Cabin, CCTV, boom barrier system etc. at his own cost as per specifications detailed in the tender conditions. 9. The dredging / Mining operation of removal of accumulated sand should not affect the drinking water schemes in the river. 10. The accessibility to the side as well as transporting path of the materials is to be planned by the bidder and proper permission should be obtained from the concerned department. It is the responsibility of the bidder to reform the road and modifications made in the structure on the river bank to its original regime.
