Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification clause 1603.1 & 1603.2 to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal and dumping to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner , trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding. The recovery for useful stones, for 174.74cum. (one hundred seventy four point seventy four cubic meter) @ Rupees 300/= only (Rupees hree hundred only) per cubic metre shall be effected on pro rata basis in all circumstances. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.
Excavation in Hill area by manual/mechanical means:- Excavation in soil in hill areas all heights and depth in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hardd rock all work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiselling and wedging out rock( where blasting is prohibited) including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with a lift upto all heights and all leads as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, in conformately with the requirement of technical specification of rural roads clause 1603.1 all useful material such as stone, shingle, aggregates& slate etc. shall be sorted out and stacked along the road side properly. Any loss to the public and private property to during the course of execution shall be the absoulte responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.
Earth work in excavation for structure in all depth as per drawing and technical specification Clause 305-1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing , removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto all lead dressisng of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable material in ordinary soil upto all depth. as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.all useful material such as stone, shingle, aggregates& slate etc. shall be sorted out and stacked along the road side properly. Any loss to the public and private property to during the course of execution shall be the absoulte responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.
Providing and laying cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement:6 sand : 12 graded stone 40mm agregate nominal size) for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802,803, 1202 and 1203.including the cost of form work and hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
P/L cement concrete 1:4:8 (1 cement :4 sand :8 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth in breast and R/wall etc. including carriage with in all leads and lifts and as per HP.PWD. specifications of 1990 volume-I and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Square rubble stone masonry work in cement 1:6 (1 cement : 6 sand) for in foundation complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 702, 704, 1202 & 1203 random rubble masonry in CM 1:6 (2nd sort) as per drawings and technical specification including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Random rubble stone masonry work in cement 1:6 (1 cement : 6 sand) for in foundation complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 702, 704, 1202 & 1203 random rubble masonry in CM 1:6 (2nd sort) as per drawings and technical specification including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Construction of dry rubble masonry for retaining wall, breast wall, revetment walls and parapets etc. for substructure and superstructure complete as per daraing and technical specificationclauses including carriage of maeterial and others incidental complete in all respect as per direction of Engiener-in charge.
Providing and laying floring laid over cement concrete bedding complete as per drawing and technical specification s clause 1303 rubble stone laid in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement : 3 sand) with in all leads and lifts, carriage of material and others incidental complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 for culvert on first class bedding of granular material in sigle row invluding fixing color with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation, protection work, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets 900mm dia including the cost of form work and hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4mm dia G.I. wire conforming to IS:280 and IS: 4826 in 100mmx100mm mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 per cent extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 40Kg each including hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Backfiling/Filter media with granular material behind retaining wall/breast wall as per specification 1204.3.8 in a width of 600mm including the cost of form work and hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry/plin reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100mm dia PVC Pipe extending thourgh the full width of the structure with stop of 1 (V) 20 (H) toward drawing face complete as per drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification s clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including haulage of material with in all leads and lifts and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
