Addition/ Alteration to Security Fencing of Boundary at Admin Complex in certain unit and Provision of Fencing at certain locations at INS Valsura, Jamnagar

Dismantling of fencing wire mesh of any type and any size with & including dismantling & taking down of connected flat iron fillets, mild steel tie bars, line wires, nut bolts, etc, complete all as specified & as directed.

Dismantling of post or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section, including taking out embedded portion in concrete and making good the disturbed ground complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in any type of soil (i.e. soft/ loose or hard/ dense soil) complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each not exc 0.50 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exc 25cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance exceeding 50 m and making good surface in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified & as directed.

Returning, filling in trenches, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil/material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for factory made pre cast cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block masonry with solid blocks, exceeding 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for factory made pre cast cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block masonry with solid blocks or slabs, 10 cm thick (with plain or interlocking joints as directed) and setting in cement mortar 1:4 in walls complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F mild steel work as in hand rails, half round or other steel section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts, posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc., flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Grade E-165 (Fe 290), complete, all as specified & as directed.

S&F mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings, etc with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters, framed signed boards, walk ways, railings, framework of water tanks and similar work, framed and hung as gates including pintle hinges, stops, hand-made sliding bolts, etc including welding conforming to Fe.290 (Gde E-165), complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F mild steel screw bolts (machine made) of 5 to 10 mm diameter of neck with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, length of bolt not exceeding 5 cm long, complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F 1.25 mm thick mild steel, plain, black sheet in wall cladding, steel gates and similar work, cut to size, holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel framing with plain 40 mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitred angles, etc. as required complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F mild steel round bars 10mm dia and over as in tie bars fixed to fencing posts and other similar works, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending, binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips or welding of bar at spots as directed, conforming to Grade E-165 (Fe 290), complete all as specified & as directed.

Fixing only mild steel galvanized chain link fencing, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts etc. including provision of binding wire, complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Supply only chain link fencing shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supply only mild steel galvanized chain link fencing (Coating 120 to 140 GSM) not more than 4mm dia of mesh wire, 75mm x 75mm mesh size (or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge) including line wire complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F galvanized 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia, barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails, straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire, staples or steel pins etc, complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Each line of horizontal / vertical / diagonal wire to be measured for the purpose of payment.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered / unplastered surfaces of walls & applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified.

M&L for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of 1st quality synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of zinc chrome primer complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for two coats of 1st quality synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc chromate primer over any description of new steel & iron surfaces, not exceeding 10 cm in width or girth when unconnected with other painting or when painted in a different tint including necessary preparation of surfaces complete all as specified & as directed.
