Providing routine maintenance of Electrical wiring (repair/replacement to wiring, switch boards, socket outlets, regulators/ MCCBs/ MCBs/ Distributionb boards etc. complete) and fixtures such as LED/Tube light/CFL fittings/Ceiling fans/Exhaust fans/ geysers/ etc... complete in MES buildings at INS Parundu and 7 N Det and DFO area and attending breakdown in substation and entire INS Parundu area and DFO 7N Det Area maintenance works at Ramnad, all works directed by JE E/M/Engineer-in-Charge by providing one Electrician and one helper each for one general shift all as specified and directed :- Notes:- (a) 01 (One) Shift Per day(one shift each of Electrician & Electrician mate) General Shift ( 0900 Hrs to 1700 Hrs) (b) Certain Maintenance items shall be issued by the Dept. on free of cost and certain other items are to be procured by the contractor under Supply only items mentioned here-in-after and the rates for fixing of all these electrical fittings/fixtures are deemed to be included in the rates quoted under Sl item Nos. 1 to 7 here-in-before. (c) All T & P required for the Electrician shall be issued by the Contractor. .

Note for Sl Item Nos. 1 to 7 here-in-before : (a) The rates quoted is inclusive for attending all complaints of Internal / External electrification, water supply installations, AC plants and water supply break downs including liasoning with TNEB and Water Supply department to restore supply in case of break down / failure of supply. (b) Any other minor work and minor item to restore the electric supply as directed by the Engineer - in- charge. (c) The rate quoted is deemed to include the cost towards uniform for the staff employed for wearing during the working hours . the uniform shall be pant, shirt & shoes and the pattern of the uniform shall be decided by the Engr- in -Charge. (d) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of supply and maintenance of the documents such as log sheets of DG Set, Pump set, complaint register, Earth test register, Attendence register, Duty register, AC plant log sheet etc... all as directed of the plant and plant maintenance record book and daily log sheet .

(e) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of cost towards keeping the substation, AC Plant, DG Set,Feeder pillar box,DBs and pumphouse surrounding area neat and tidy during the entire period of contract. (f) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of tools and safety equipment required for running and maintenance of plants. (g) Checking of presence of chlorine on daily bases and PH testing as directed by Engr -in-Charge (h) Maintain the record of the same is to be carried out cost is inclusive of items required for testing of water. (j) Testing of water samples once in every five months as directed by Engr -in- Charge for chemical and bacteriological analysis from Govt Authorised Laboratory.

(k) Necessary DHPP (Diesel) for the running of DG Set and Engine oil for toping of will be issued as and when required basis free for running the installations, contractor has to collect the Diesel/Engine oil from the MES. (l) Necessary inventory for the items installed at site to be prepared jointly for Handing Taking over of assets between Department and Contractor, any Deficiencies in items noticed during the period of contract,the contractor shall be liable to make good to the items with the the items of original specifications as received at the time of taking over. (m) In case the contractor defaults in deploying sufficient manpower as stipulated in the CA conditions, Rs. 1000 per shift per operator shall be deducted from running account receipts payment as penalty in addition to recovery of rates quoted under respective items of Sch ‘A’ BoQ (n) It will be Contractors responsibility to submit all the documents as asked by the Security Department of the concerned area to obtain Necessary Entry Passs to the working area and copy of the same should be submitted to the Engineer In-charge.

(o) All the Plants to be kept in serviceable condition with Minor Repairs and replacements not included in BOQ (Not costing more than Rs 5000 during the contract Period) Any Major Faults occurred to be intimated to concerned JE and Engr in Charge so that the same can be rectified immediately. (p) Spares required for urgent repair of E/M equipments will be issued as and when requried basis at MES store yard subject to availability of the stores. Cost for fixing of the items is deemed to be included in Sl item Nos. 1 to 7 in BOQ here-in-before . (q) The power Factor to be monitored regularly and to maintain proper record.Incase of any fault in the APFC Panel the same to be intimated to JE/Engineer in charge Immediately.

(r) Electrician has to operate the DG Set in case of Electric failure in addition to the duty of Electrician. (s) Electrician has to maintain the VCBs and close watch on HT fuses and GOD's. (t) One shift of 08 hours are considered, General maintenance of E/M Installations as and when needed shall be carried out round the clocks all as directed by Engg-in-charge (u) Daily maintenance of installation all as per manufactures instruction including greasing , lubricating etc... shall be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (v) Log sheet of all DG Set including daily running hours and maintenance carried out , consumption of grease,lubricants,DHPP (Diesel) etc shall be maintained by the contractor in their installation and same will be checked by th Eng-in-charge periodically and daily by JE.

(w)The rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for topping up of battery electrolyte/distilled water,cleaning/replacement of battery terminals ,charging of batteries and replacement of fan belt,fuel pipe,fuel cap if required etc... all as directed by Eng-in-charge. (x) Cleaning of entire Sub station & equipments daily and the contractor shall be issued cleaning items such as cotton waste, brooms etc... to the operator. (y) Daily maintenance of water supply installations all as per manufactures instruction including greasing , lubricating etc... shall be included in the unit rate quoted .The unit rates against the item shall be deemed to include the cost of minor repair to the foot valve system by replacing the leather flap, rubber insertion , nuts &bolts etc... (z)The AC plant shall be operated in three shifts of 08 hours .However the timings of duty may be changed as per the requirement at site and as directed by Engineer in charge and nothing extra will be paid on this account.

(aa) Daily maintenance of Central AC Plant installation all as per manufactures instruction including greasing , lubricating etc shall be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor.The unit rates against the item shall be deemed to include the cost of minor repair of AC plant. (ab) DG Set/ Pumpset /AC Plant/ Electric supply installation shall be operated by any of the operater as required/directed by Eng-in-charge. (ac) Cleaning of entire AC plant & equipments daily and the contractor shall be issued cleaning items such as cotton waste, brooms etc to the operator.

Cutting and cleaning the bushes and unwanted plant growth inside E/M installations at main receiving station inside fencing and around Main Substation, all unwanted materials shall be removed around the installation and substation premise in every 3 months and depositing waste material outside INS Parundu Complex all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting and cleaning the bushes and unwanted plant growth inside E/M installations at UAV Power house inside complex and up to 10 mtr from wall of buildings of Power house and near by E/M installations, all unwanted materilas shall be removed around the installation and substation premise complex in every 3 months and depositing waste material outside INS Parundu Complex all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting and cleaning the bushes and unwanted plant growth inside E/M installations at TS Power house and around Main Substation, around the installation, Four pole structure and substation premise, all unwanted materials shall be removed around the installation and substation premise in every 3 months and depositing waste material outside INS Parundu Complex all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting and cleaning the bushes and unwanted plant growth inside E/M installations at ATC Power house and around Main Substation, all unwanted materilas shall be removed around the installation, and nearby E/M equipments and substation premise in every 3 months and depositing waste material outside INS Parundu Complex all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting and cleaning the bushes and unwanted plant growth inside E/M installations at DFO Pump house inside cxomplex and up to 5 mtr from wall of buildings of Pump house and near by old Office complex, all unwanted materilas shall be removed around the installation and substation premise in every 3 months and depositing waste material outside INS Parundu Complex all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting and cleaning the bushes and unwanted plant growth inside E/M installations at TS Pump house inside complex and up to 10 mtr from wall of buildings of Pump house and near by MES buildings, Over head tanks (100000 Ltr capacity and 15000 Ltr capacitry), all unwanted materilas shall be removed around the installation and substation premises, MES buildings etc... in each 3 months and depositing waste material outside INS Parundu Complex all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only of the following items complete all as specified and directed. Note: The cost of fixing of the undermentioned supply only items are deemed to be included in the rates quoted for Sl item Nos. 1 to 7 here-in-before.
