Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out soil including forming bottom surface to required slope/gradient for laying cables/pipes etc. including removing cable protection covers/ bricks complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) Excavation shall be made carefully in order to avoid damage of existing cables and brick protection. (ii) The excavation work may be carried out in short lengths for locating fault in under ground cables at different locations (iii) The disturbed surface of roads/paths/plinths etc. shall be repaired and quoted rates deemed to include this aspect.

M&L for Returning, filling in, including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming the excavated soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr distance and depositing as directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for sand filling with clean dry fine sand unwashed including gently punning around cables in trenches/ducts for cable protection complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE : Thickness after punning shall be measured for payment)

M&L for Un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class LV type I, flat, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm as proteciton to under ground cable laid dry flat adjoining each other complete all as specified and directed

Disconnecting and taking out old unserviceable GI pipe and Supplying, laying & jointing GI water tubing, 50 mm bore, light grade as in sleeving etc laid in trenches / pole post etc, cutting and making necessaries arangement by means of wedling and jointing suitable for post of larntent/ street light fitting including PCC work complete all as specified and directed . (Note : PCC work shall be measured and paid seperatly under Sch "A' relevent item)

Disconnecting and taking out old existing unserviceable/ non- functional LT Cable and Supplying, laying, jointing and testing cable XLPE insulated IS 7098 (Part-I)-1988 marked, screened, PVC sheathed, armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminum conductor for working voltage upto and including 1100 Volts, cross sectional area of under mentioned size of cables laid in trenches/fixed on pole/wall / passed through pipe complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE: Earth work, sand cushioning, pipe, clamps for holding cables and brick protection shall be measured and paid separately )

Labour only for checking the serviceability of the different spares / components / parts of security light fittings/post top lantern light fittings (LED,HPSV, Metal Halide, flood light fittings etc, any wattage/capacity) of any description and fixed in any position, replacement of un-serviceable/damaged/ broken part(s) either in single or in combination, re-assembling the fittings and making the light fittings serviceable, fixing the fittings in position, connecting to electric supply and its testing on installation complete all as specified and directed here in after in notes NOTES FOR SCH `A’ ITEM NO 11:- (i) Replacement of parts i.e Drivers,SPD, LED board,lamps, choke, Igniter, Condenser, Holder, covers etc for Street/Flood light fittings any wattage & capacity, if any required at site, shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A' as ‘supply only. (ii) Necessary T&P i.e. ladder, tools etc required for checking and making the light fittings in serviceable conditions, its fixing in position and testing shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost for checking and fixing of street light fittings/security light fittings of any description on poles / on walls / on pillars etc i.e. in any position at site. (iii) Required screws, insulating tapes, internal wiring wire and other minor items excluding the required spares parts for repairing and making the street light fittings/security light fittings in serviceable condition, will be arranged & supplied by the contractor and cost of which is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor in above respective item. (iv) Contractor shall be paid only one time the labour charges quoted above in Schedule `A' items for a particular fitting repaired irrespective of the number of times labour and resources arranged by him to check the serviceability of the fittings and replacement of unserviceable / defective parts in order to maintain the fittings in serviceable/working condition. (v) Contractor’s quoted rates for Schedule `A' item No 11 is deemed to include for inspection/checking the serviceability of the fittings in position or by taking down as per site requirement, removing the damaged unserviceable / broken parts, fixing the new parts as required, fixing the fittings in same position or the other, connecting the fittings with electric source and testing of fittings as directed.

Supply only the following parts for LED fittings complete all as specified and directed. NOTES: (i) Fixing element of these items is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor for Sch `A' item No 11 (ii) Spare parts/items shall be of make Crompton Greaves/Philips/Bajaj/Havells & suitable for the existing fittings. (iii) The above items shall be operated with prior written approval of GE and when required spares are not available with the deptt to issue to contractor under Sch ‘B’ “Free for fixing” and Contractor shall have no claim on account of non execution of above items.

Taking down existing unserviceable bracket complete and S&F 40 mm dia GI light grade pipe bracket 1.50 m long bent to shape by cutting & welding as required & directed and fixed to pole with two Nos of FI clamps 40x5 mm to be tightened with bolts, nut and washers and including painted with two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fixing in replacement of UNSV LED bollard light 10 W, IP 65 rated ,efficient light distribution complete with accessories to be fixed in Ground including connecting the fitting to control switch at the bottom of the Junction box with using 2.5 Sqmm two single core PVC insulated and unsheathed copper conductor cable complete,all as specified and directed Make : Crompton/ Havells/ C&S/Bajaj (Note :PCC work shall be measured and paid seperatly under Sch "A' relevent item and rate of cable deemed to be included )

Supply and fixing in replacement of UNSV 20W LED Post top lantern complete accessories to be fixed on pole/wall including connecting the fitting to control switch at the bottom of the pole with using 2.5 Sqmm two single core PVC insulated and unsheathed copper conductor cable complete,all as directed and directed. Supply and fixing in replacement of UNSV 40W LED Post top lantern complete accessories to be fixed on pole/wall including connecting the fitting to control switch at the bottom of the pole with using 2.5 Sqmm two single core PVC insulated and unsheathed copper conductor cable complete,all as directed and directed. Taking down old unserviceable junction boxes from the pole with disconnectiong all connections, Supplying and fixing in position Junction box made of SMC/FRP sheet ready made of size 300 mm x 200 x 105 mm having 100 A Capacity RYB and neutral aluminium bus bar of 3 mm thick duly fitted on suitable insulator . The gasket should be internally embedded, and made of Polyeutherene. Box shall be suitable for up to 35Sqmm cables including one no. MCB SP 230 volts 6 amps and connecting the bus bars to cables with using suitable GI nut, bolts and washers and aluminum lugs etc fixed on pole using 30x5mm FI clamps,nuts,bolts & washers complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 23 above but Junction Box size 205 X 255 X112 MM (LXBXH) and shall be suitable for 16/25Sqmm cables complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B2 with 40mm grade stone aggregate as in foundation for outstanding around pole near feeder pillar/LT panel foundation of stays, including form work, fair finishing to exposed surface complete, all as specified and directed.

Material & labour of PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate (4 stay). in mass concrete and filling complete for foundation/hard standing coping , complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling of poles and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cutting chases in hard standing road/path/drain etc for passing cables/pipes etc. size of and removing the excavated materials and disposal at 50 metre distance and making good the cutting after the pipe and cables are laid with PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying,erecting and fixing in replacement of UNSV steel tubular swaged pole (410 SP – 31), 9 mtr long,in true vertical position complete conforming to IS : 2713 (Part-I & III) 1980 with cast iron base plate, pole cap / finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and washers, welded reduced section and longitudinal weld throughout entire length of pole with and including 2 coats of black bituminous paint externally upto planting depth and remaining exterior portion of pole finished with one coat of red oxide primer complete, all as specified and directed.
