Amount

Excavation for road way in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/ mechanical means, including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, soft rock, hard rock chiseling or wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the required lines grades, cutting and trimming of side slopes, camber, super elevation and levels as shown in the drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge complete in conformity with the requirements of MORD Technical Specification section 300 & 1600 and sorting out and stacking of useful materials with in all leads and lifts in acquired road width and transporting of un-useful materials for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus materials to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or by mechanical means including leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. Recovery of stones to the tune of 66.75 cubic meter quantity at the rate of Rs.300/- only (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic meter shall be effected from the contractor running bills on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him to the extent of damage occurred in all cases. Earth work in excavation in foundation for all types of road structures such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains, parapets and other similar structures in all kinds and classification of soil, including saturated soil comprising of ordinary mix soil, ordinary rock, hard rock, chiseling/ wedging out rocks (where blasting is prohibited) complete in accordance with the lines and dimensions shown in the drawings, including setting out, construction of shoring, bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of excavated material upto any leads and lifts including dressing of sides and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable approved materials to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (One hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring strutting and pumping or bailing out water (surface and sub-soil water) up to any depth and any quantum of water and cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering complete as per drawing and MORD Technical Specification section 300 & 1600 and as per the direction and the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated concrete for plain cement concrete nominal mix 1:4:8 (One cement isto four sand isto eight graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (Forty millimeter) nominal size), on ground or under water in Retaining wall/breast wall and the like etcetera complete including pumping or bailing out water, dewatering (surface/sub soil water)including removal of slush which may arise at time of laying concrete for all heights/depths and any quantum of water, including cost of form work and curing complete for 14 (fourteen) days and as per drawing and MORD Technical specification section 800, 900, 1200 and 1600 and as per entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, GST, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing 100mm (One Hundred millimeter) dia PVC pipe Weep Holes in brick masonry/stone masonry/plain /reinforced concrete abutments, wing wall/ return wall, retaining walls and breast walls etcetra, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of IV:20H ( One vertical : twenty Horizontal) towards draining face complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 700 & 1200 and as per the directions and entire satisfactions of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, GST, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Back filling with granular material behind abutment Retaining wall/Breast wall, Wing walls and the like complete as per drawings and MORD technical specification section 1200 & 1600 as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, GST, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and erecting a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3mm (Three millimetre) thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70cm (Seventy centimetre) above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150x75x5mm (One hundred fifty into seventy five into five millimetre) spaced 2m (Two metre) centre to centre, 1.8m (One point eight metre) high, 1.1m (One point one metre) below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section150x75x5mm, (One hundred fifty into seventy five into five millimetre) 330mm (Three hundred thirty millimetre) long complete as per clause 810 Engineer-in-charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying (to level or slope) 900mm dia (Nine hundred millimeter) diametre reinforced cement concrete heavy duty non pressure pipes IS Class NP-3 for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 (One cement isto two sand) but excluding the cost of excavation, protection works, back filling, pipe bedding concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specifications section 1100 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. Filling in foundation, trenches as per drawing and MORD technical specification as per clause 305.3.9 earth filling and as per the direction and the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Loosening of the ground upto the level of 300mm (Three hundred millimetre) below sub-grade level watered, graded with motor grader and compacting by rolling with Road rollar 8-10kN (eight to Ten) static weight at OMC to achieve the required density as per Tables 300.1 and 300.2 of MORD Technical Specification section 300 and as per direction and the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Construction of sub grade and earthen Shoulder with approved materials obtained from borrow pits within all leads and lifts, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 as per MORD technical specification Section 400 including hauling of material with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-In-Charge. Construction of Gravel/Granular sub base/base 175mm (one hundred seventy five millimeter) compacted thickness by providing well graded material as per table 400.1 spreading in uniform layers with tractor mount grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with tractor mount appropriate rotavator at OMC and compacting with three wheel 80-100 (eighty – Hundred) kN static roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per MORD technical specification section 400 for grading-I material and as per the direction and entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (Pug Mill), carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base/base course on a well prepared sub-base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of 80 to 100kN weight to achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading and maintenance of diversion, etc as per Tables 400.11 & 400.12 and Technical Specification Clause 406.as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface with hydraulic brooms and spraying primer with bitumen emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.85 kg (zero point eight five kilogramme) per square meter as per MORD Technical specification section 500 as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Royality, Malkana, Octroi, GST, Toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion RS-I, including cleaning the road surface with hydraulic brooms and spraying with emulsion pressure distributor at the rate 0.275 kg (zero point two seven five kilogramme) per square meter on the prepared granular surface treated with primer complete as per MORD Technical specification section 500, and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Royality, Malkana, Octroi, GST, Toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying 30mm (Thirty millimetre) compacted thickness bituminous concrete with minimum 100-120 (One hundred to one hundred twenty) TPH Tonne per hour hot mix batch type plant with electronic control Grading-II using crushed aggregate 13.2mm (Thirteen decimal two millimetre) nominal size of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder VG-10 (Viscosity Grade-Ten) at the rate of 5.5% (five decimal five percent) of mix weight and using cement as filler with quantity not less than 2% (Two percent) by weight of total aggragate as per design mix transported to site, laid with censor paver finisher hydraulic with censor control to the required grade, level and alignment over a previously prepered surface and rolling complete with smooth three wheeled roller 8-10 (Eight-Ten) tonne capacity for initial break down rolling and vibratory roller 8-10 (Eight-Ten) tonne capacity or pneumatic tyve roller of 12-15 (Twelve-fifteen Tonne) with tyre pressure of atleast 0.56mpa (Zero point five six) for intermediate rolling and finish rolling with 6-8 (six-eight) tonne smooth wheeled tandom roller to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH Technical specification section 500 complete in all respect as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads,lifts and other incidental.
