Construction of Jibhi, Rashala, Sarthi road Km. 0/00 to 5/565 under PMGSY-IV, Batch-I for the year 2025-2026

Excavation in soil in hilly areas by mechanical/manual means, in all heights and depths, in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damages to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and levels as shown on the drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge in conformity with the requirements of MoRD technical specification for Rural Road, Section. 300 & 1600 to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites safe manner and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load and animal transport and mechanical means along with its leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, tools, equipment’s and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. During the mobilization period, contractor should take the advanced x-sec in 15 m (fifteen metre) interval of whole road length in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge or his representative. In case the advanced x-section has been taken in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge representative, in that case the same has to be got approved from Engineer-in-Charge. The land for dumping sites shall be arranged by the contractors himself and nothing extra shall be paid on this account, filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones, whether useful or 11413.19 (Eleven Thousand Four Hundred Thirteen point One Nine) cubic metre at the rate of Rs 300/-only (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic meter amounting to Rs. 34, 23,957.00 only shall be effected on prorata basis in all circumstances. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drain and Parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiseling/wedging out rocks (Where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD technical specification section 300 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring, bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any leads and lifts including dressing of sides, bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layer not executing 150 mm (one hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring, strutting, pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Loosening of the ground upto a level of 300 mm (three hundred millimetres) below the subgrade level, watered, graded with motor grader and compacted in layers to meet requirement of Tables 300. 1 and 300. 2 of MORD with three wheel 80-100 kN (eighty to one hundred kiloNewton) static roller for subgrade construction as per MORD Technical Specification section 300 as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with in all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading by mechanical means to required slope and compacted with three wheel 80-100 (eighty to one hundred) kN (kiloNewton) static roller to meet requirement of Table 300.2 complete as per MORD technical Specification section 300 & 1600 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Back filling with granular material behind abutments, wing walls, return walls and retaining walls complete as per drawing and MORD technical specifications section 1200, 1600 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Construction of 1st (first) layer Bio enzyme (100 mm) (one hundred millimetre) based soil stabilised layer (accredited by IRC) to a required thickness as per manufacturer design with local soil material/gravel/moorum, having CBR greater than Equal to 5% (Five percent) and treating it with Bio Enzyme in the ratio 1 ltr. (one litre) for 12.5 cum (twelve point five cubic metre) soil, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface. mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density complete as per technical specification including all labour, materials, like soil and metal, equipment etc., complete including Supervision (Supervisor shall be provided by Bio Enzyme Vendor) as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge of the work. Bio Enzyme Supervisor accommodation, food and local transport will be in scope of Contractor. The soil will have clay percentage by hydrometry between 8% to 30%, (eight percent to thirty percent) including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government excluding GST.

Construction of 2nd (second) layer Bio enzyme (100 mm) (One Hundred millimetre) based soil stabilised layer (accredited by IRC) to a required thickness as per manufacturer design with local soil material/gravel/murram, having CBR greater than Equal to 6% (six percent) and treating it with Bio Enzyme in the ratio 1 ltr. (One litre) for 15.0 per cum (fifteen point zero per cubic metre) soil with 25% (twenty five percent) 40mm (forty millimetre) crusher broken metal (of compacted thickness) in design mix, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface. mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density complete as per technical specification including all labour, materials, like soil and metal, equipments etc., complete including Supervision (Supervisor shall be provided by Bio Enzyme Vendor) as per the directions of the Engineer incharge of the work. Bio Enzyme Supervisor accommodation, food and local transport will be in scope of Contractor. The soil will have clay % (percent) by hydrometry between 8% to 30% (eight percent to thirty percent), including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government excluding GST.

Applying of curing material Terra Cure after the application of Bio Enzyme layer (accredited by IRC) for by mixing Terra Cure with water in the ratio of 1:200 (one isto two hundred) and then applying the mixed solution @ 3 ltr. (at the rate three litre) for 1 sqm (one square metre) including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government excluding GST.

Construction of Granular Sub-Base (Grade-1) by providing well graded materials, spreading in uniform layers with tractor mount grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with three Wheel 80-100 kN (Eighty-hundred kilonewton) static roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per MORD Technical Specification section 400 for grading-I Material, as per the entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting by mechanical means crushed stone aggregate size 63mm to 45mm (sixty three millimetre to forty five millimetre) Grading-II consolidated thickness to water bound Macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness using template, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN (eighty to one hundred kilonewton) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber including applying and brooming, stone screening type-B of size 11.2 mm (eleven point two millimetres) nominal size at the rate of 0.20 cum (zero point two zero cubic metres) per 10 sqm (ten square metres) and binding material at the rate of 0.06 cum (zero point zero six cubic metre) per 10 sqm (ten square metre) to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per MORD technical specifications section 400 and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidental. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.
