Supply and laying in trenches DI pipe 'K-7' of size 150mm bore, with tighten joint spigot and socket ends including taking out old pipe complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : excavation of earth work shall be measured and paid separately).

Construction of valve pit chamber with brick masonary with sub class 'B' bricks (one brick thick) in cement mortar (1:6) and necessary PCC (75mm thick) type D2 (1:4:8) as in foundation and 15mm thick plastering on brick work in cement mortar (1:4) including necessary earthwork etc work having internal dimension 60cm x 60cm x 60cm and providing of 3mm thick MS sheet cover duly hinged on 40mm x 40mm x 6mm angle iron frame and embedded on top of chamber by minimum 4 Nos MS hold fast. Necessary locking arrangement shall be provided to the sheet cover for safety. The steel surfaces shall be painted with two coats black bituminous paint over a coat of anti corrosive red oxide primer complete after demolition of old valve pit chamber all as specified & directed.

S&F for mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, length of bolts exceeding 22.5 cm and not exceeding 30 cm long and dia of neck 16 to 20 mm dia using for foundation/base platform for fixing of existing centrifugal pump set, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for flanged joints with all accessories such as mild steel nuts, bolts, washers, gaskets rubber or fiber board complete after taking down old unserviceable flanged joints for following sizes of CI/DI Pipes :-

Taking down centrifugal pump of cap 20 HP make Bareja, Model- 81-C 4A from its foundation by disconnecting the suction discharge lines and decoupling from motor and repair the pumps with the following works (Note: Parts required for replacement shall be measured and paid separately as supply only) :- Note : (i) Dismantling the pump assy carefully part by part, cleaning all rotary and stationary parts properly, display the items at pump house for inspection of Garrison engineer/ Engr- in- Charge. to ascertain the serviceability / unserviceability and requirement of renewal of parts. (ii) Reassembling the pump with existing serviceable parts and by replacing unserviceable parts including machining works where necessary for fitment of new parts for their smooth functioning. (iii) Placing the pump at its foundation, couple with the motor, make ascentric for trouble free functioning, connecting suction and discharge lines and testing discharge of pump complete.

Dismantling of submersible pump motor of capacity 5/10 HP (pump motor listed under relevant items) checking fitness of stator and rotor, machining where required, rewinding the starter with insulated winding wire of existing dia and turn to achieve desired RPM and HP as per existing parameters all as specified & directed.

M&L for disconnecting the centrifugal/Booster pump and motor after disconnection of mechanical type coupling, suction/discharge pipe line and unbolting from foundation base plate loading/unloading the pump and motor to the veh and transportation to workshop for repair/replacement/rewinding with super enamelled copper conductor wires 22 gauge maint and including dismantle & re-assembling the pump setting the impeller & housing for smooth running, replacement of packing gaskets etc. after repair/replacement/maint transportation back from workshop to site, including re-assembling the same, recoupling the pump with motor on base frame, checking the alignment with motor, testing & commissioning on completion and checking upto the satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge to the following capacity :- Note :- [i] unserviceable spares parts of pump set (like bearing, shaft, impeller), will be measured and paid separately.
