M & L for Preparing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen of grade VG -30 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L 7.5cm thick Granite trap or blast (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for laying Bituminous Premixed Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete, 30 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG – 30, with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified. Note: Minimum Bitumen content shall be 5.5% as specified here in above. Please note that if the actual quantity of bitumen to be incorporated on approval of Mix–Design is found more than the minimum bitumen content specified above, No price adjustment shall be made for actual bitumen content of Mix–Design. Bitumen shall be Paving Bitumen of Grade VG–30 and shall be procured by the contractor.

M & L for repair to Pot Holes exceeding 30 mm depth, not exceeding 1.00 Sq.m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 Sq.m, putting in bituminous Premixed Asphaltic Semi Dense Concrete and again well rammed with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and consolidated including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Road Marking Strips, Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc of 2.5 mm thick [Reflective Type] of colour White or Golden Yellow on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 10cm wide with Hot Thermo Plast material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater, driven by skilled operator on road surface complete as per MOSRT & H specifications including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of Cement Concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for and removing rubbish to a distance not exceeding 1.50 KM complete all as specified and as directed.
