Repair and maintenance of Bangran Bridge over Giri river on Paonta Singhpura Bhagani Gojjar Dakpathar road (MDR-94) at Km. 10/130. (SH- Repair and Rehabilation of bridge)

STAGE-I. Applying pre-packed cement based polymer mortar of strength 45(forty five) Mpa at 28(twenty eight) days for replacement of spalled concrete including removal of loose concrete upto 20mm.(twenty milimetres) beyond reinforcement and saw cut the repair area in proper geometric shape in order to avoid feather edging also including treating the exposed reinforcement with alkaline rust remover and treating the steel with epoxy based zinc rich anti corrosive over steel rebars including curing with water complete, including all leads, lifts and carriage of material, as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Guniting concrete surface with cement mortar applied with air compressor with guniting equipment along with all accessories after cleaning surface and spraying with epoxy including cost of all materials, labour, hire charges of machinery, all leads lifts complete 50mm-75mm (fifty milimetres to seventy five milimetres)thick for well foundations exposed surfaces as per Technical Specification clause, including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials, as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Sealing of crack / porous concrete with Epoxy Grout by injection through nipples complete as per clause 2803.1 including preparing the v-groove along the length of crack removing all dust and loose particles and placing injection ports at spacing of 200mm to 500mm(two hundred milimetres to five hundred milimetres) depending upon porosity of substrate sealing the cracks with epoxy putty followed by pressure grouting including shuttering , staging and other safety requirements during execution, including all leads, llifts and carriage of materials, as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Replacement of Bearings with POT cum PTFE bearing including lifting of superstructure , keeping in position, providing required pedestals,installing bearings as per manufactures requirementsincluding shuttering , staging and other safety requirements complete as per Technical Specification, including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials, as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Replacement of Expansion Joints with strip seal type expansion joints caterung to maximum horizontal distance of 70mm complete as per drawings and technical specificationsto be installed by the manufacturer/ supplier on their authorised representative ensuring comlaince to manufactureres instructions including removing the concrete at edges of deck slab at expansiion joints location for about 300mm on either side exposing the reinforcement and treating the exposed surface with alkaline rust remover and then treating the steel with epoxy based zinc rich anti corrosive primer including providing and applying with solvent free epoxy based bonding agent including providing and applying non shrink cementitious micro concrete including curing complete.

Replacing Slab concreting on piers with 300mm slab with providing and laying RCC M35 grade in superstructure including cost of reinforcement shuttering complete and also including dismentalling of existing RCC slabs on piers with disposal of dismentalled material upto all leads complete including safety requirements during execution of work, including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials, as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing of Drainage Spouts complete as per drawing and Technical specification including removing the existing spouts including treating of finished surface with polymer modified repair mortar, including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials, as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-In-charge.

STAGE-II. Replacement of Damaged Concrete Railing with RCC crash barriers including dismentalling of existing RCC handrail without damaging the other components of superstructure including centering, shuttering and including reinforcement bars and providing and laying with RCC M-20 (twenty)grade concrete including curing and safety requirements during execution of work,including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials, as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying Pitching on slopes laid over prepared filter media including boulder apron laid dry in front of toe of embankment complete as per drawing and Technical specifications, including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials, as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying of launching apron around abutments for protection against scour laid in wire crates made with 4mm (four milimetres) dia GI wire conforming to IS: 280 & IS:4826 in 100mm x 100mm(undred milimetres into hundred milimetres) mesh (weaved diagonally) including 10 per cent extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 40 kg (forty kilograms) each, including all leads, lilfts and carriage of materials, as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying 65mm thick wearing course over deck slab consisting of 25mm(twenty five milimetres) thick bituminous mastic layer over 40mm(forty mililmetres) thick bituminous concrete complete as per technical specification clause , including demolition of existing 75mm (seventy five milimetres) thick deteriorated cement concrete wearing coat complete as per technical specification without causing any detrimental effect to any part of bridge structure including disposal of dismantalled material upto all leads lifts complete, including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials, as per the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
