M & L preparing old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing any foreign objects or other stone pieces /vegetations etc and sweeping with brooms and finally cleaning with air compressor, making the surface free from dust and appying polymer modified bitumen emulsion PMBEs by spraying with conventional tractor mounted bitumen sprayer, complete for uniform apllication with undiluted quantity of PMBEs @ 0.300 litres/sqm mix with water in 1:1 ratio and provide uniform finish to runway complete all as per manufactures instruction and as specified and as directed . Note:- (a) The work shall be carried out after filling of pores, pin/pot holes of area not exc 491 sqmm each and filled with ready mix Dense asphaltic concrete (DAC) and finished properly to match with existing flexible portion of runway and to be executed one day before placng of polymer modified emulsion, and rate will be inclusive in quoted rate. (b) Contractor shall produce original purchase voucher of PMBEs from authorised dealer. (c) Contracotor shall bring the materials and to be incorperated after checking the consignment by Engr in charge. (d) Runway surface friction will be tested by the contractor prior and after the application of PMBEs and rates thereof shall included in the unit rate of this item. (e) Arrangement for protection of centre line lights to be made before application of bitumen emulsion. Any damage to centre line light to be reapir at his own cost. (f) Protection to centre line painting to be arranged by the contractor and cost of it will be included in quoted rate. (g) Any spillage of bitumen emulsion over existing centre line paint and centre line light to be removed by the contractor and cost of it wiil be included in quoted rate.

Material and labour for preparing old painted surfaces of rigid pavement and flexible pavement (concrete or asphaltic base) of PTT , Taxi Track, links, Tarmac or like and applying a coats of aqua base acrylic road marking paint mechanically with painting machine as per manufacturer's instruction (white / golden / yellow/ orange) as lines / dashes/ letters etc width or girth exceeding 10 cm complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per serial item No 2.00 here - in - before but surfaces not exc 10 cm width or girth.

Repair of pot holes / pin holes area exc 491 sqmm but not exc 1963 sqmm in flexible pavements / runway / PTT with ready mix Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC) including applying tack coat with PMBE and cutting as required i.e. shape and size and depth 30 mm, including cleaning, consolidating and ramming as required complete all as specified and directed.

Repair of pot holes / pin holes area exc 1963 sqmm but not exc 7850 sqmm in flexible pavements / runway / PTT with ready mix Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC) including applying tack coat with PMBE and cutting as required i.e. shape and size and depth 30 mm, including cleaning, consolidating and ramming as required complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting out defective portion of existing rigid pavement with the help of mechanical means / manually chiselling and make regular shape, size of width not more than 75mm and depth not less than 30 mm for top surface of slab ,removing all debris , loose particle clean the surface and to be repaired with air blower. Applying a coat of resin based primer on the horizontal and vertical faces with bristle brush and applying premixed elastomeric concrete (self levelling) is poured on primed surface and finished by means of trowels and flats . The surface to be finished true levelled with existing adjoining rigid pavement . The mixing of materials for elastomeric concrete as per manufacturer instruction and complete all as secified and directed.

Cutting out defective portion of existing rigid pavement with the help of mechanical means / manually chiselling and make regular shape of width between 20mm to 30mm and depth not less than 30 mm for top surface of slab respectively ,removing all debris , loose particle clean the surface and to be repaired with air blower. Applying a coat of resin based primer on the horizontal and vertical faces with bristle brush and applying premixed elastomeric concrete (self levelling) is poured on primed surface and finished by means of trowels and flats . The surface to be finished true levelled with existing adjoining rigid pavement . The mixing of materials for elastomeric concrete as per manufacturer instruction and complete all as secified and directed.

M&L preparing existing cracks of 4 to 7 mm wide in flexible surface by brushing with wire brushes to remove all loose dust, materials etc, drying the cracks surface of moisture completely by means of mechanical driven air blower and applying one coat of primer. Applying masking tape both sides of edges of cracks to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and filled with cold applied rubberised bituminous sealant as per manufacurer's insstruction with extraordinary resillency to protect against infiltration of moisture or incompressibles through repeated thermal cycles of expansion and contraction .Removing masking tape after application of bituminous selant joint and surface to be finished true levelled with existing adjoining pavement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Grinding incl cutting of edges where required with electrically/diesel operated grinding machine of existing undulated rigid portion of runway and dispersal and maintain proper finish with adjoining rigid surface maintaining proper surface texture and surface condition and remove all debris/material obtained after grinding to a distance up to and n. exc.100 Mtrs and deposited where directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Surface of runway should not get any kind of damage during the process of grinding. Damages made if any shall make good by the contractor without any extra cost.
