Taking down of existing roof treatment from roof and terrace, roughening surface of old concrete roof by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc and supply, testing and applying following new roof treatment:- (a) Applying cement slurry over concrete surfaces @ 3 kg/sqm. (b) Rendring 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) mixed with water proofing compound as per manufactures instruction on cleaned concrete surfaces of roof and finishing the surfaces fair and even including curing the plastered surfaces for 7 days by ponding of water over the roof, (leveling course). (c) Applying evenly one coat of cold bituminous primer conforming to [email protected] liter per square metre on the cleaned plastered surfaces. (d) Applying evenly one coat of blown hot bitumen of grade 85/25@ 1.20 Kg per square metre on primed surfaces. (e) Applying a layer of APP based polymeric membrane, 3mm thick (minimum)Weighing 3.50 Kg per square metre reinforced with polyster non woven fabric weighing not less than 160 gms per square metre by torch application. The overlap shall be not less than 100mm on transverese direction and 75 mm on longitudinal direction and sealing overlaps. (f) Applying evenly one coat of Aluminium paint @ 0.10 litre per square metre over the APP based polymeric membrane at 5th floor complete all as specified and directed

Prepration and cleaning of Galvalume roofing sheet surfaces and supply, testing and applying following roof treatment:- (c) Applying evenly one coat of cold bituminous primer conforming to [email protected] liter per square metre on the cleaned sheet surfaces. (d) Applying evenly one coat of blown hot bitumen of grade 85/25@ 1.20 Kg per square metre on primed surfaces. (e) Applying a layer of APP based polymeric membrane, 3mm thick (minimum)Weighing 3.50 Kg per square metre reinforced with polyster non woven fabric weighing not less than 160 gms per square metre by torch application. (f) Applying evenly one coat of Aluminium paint @ 0.10 litre per square metre over the APP based polymeric membrane complete all as specified and directed Notes for Item No 1&2 :- (a)The Roof treatment work shall be carried out through the original manufacturer or his authorized applicator only , Contractor will have to submit MOU between him and the manufacturer/ authorized applicator before start of work and contractor will have to submit all necessary documents like Purchase Vouchers, test Certificates, Authorization letter of manufacturer, MOU etc before payment of RAR. (b) Contractor will have to submit a written guarantee for water proofing treatment for a period of 10 years on a stamp paper of Rs 100 . (c) Contractor will have to deposit a FDR for a Sum equal to 3% of Total Cost of water proofing Treatment before issue of final completion of work failing which the sum shall be deducted from his RARs/Final Bill.

Notes for Item No 1&2 :- (a)The Roof treatment work shall be carried out through the original manufacturer or his authorized applicator only , Contractor will have to submit MOU between him and the manufacturer/ authorized applicator before start of work and contractor will have to submit all necessary documents like Purchase Vouchers, test Certificates, Authorization letter of manufacturer, MOU etc before payment of RAR. (b) Contractor will have to submit a written guarantee for water proofing treatment for a period of 10 years on a stamp paper of Rs 100 . (c) Contractor will have to deposit a FDR for a Sum equal to 3% of Total Cost of water proofing Treatment before issue of final completion of work failing which the sum shall be deducted from his RARs/Final Bill.

S&F in repairs for 0.50 mm thick pre-painted corrugated /'Z' profile galvalume roofing sheets as in roofing (in any location and any type) having high strength steel with minimum 550 Mpa strength hot dip coated with aluminium zinc alloy (55%aluminium and 45% zinc ) pre-painted with primer coat of 5 micron and coated with silicon modified polyester coating of 20 micron and alkalysed coating of 10 micron on reverse side. End rib, side over lap and over lap of sheets shall be designed for anti capillary activties to avoid any seepage of water through lateral overlap as per manufacturer's instructions, including fixing with self drilling and self tapping screws 5mm dia full threaded, all Kautex coated and fitted with EPDM washers in stainless steel. the screws shall be coated with anti-corrosive substance to ensure longer life and shall be fixed using drill guns for lead proof installation. Screws shall be of 'HILTI' make or equivalent as approved by GE , including taking down of existing roof sheeting of any type and size complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The quoted rates shall deemed to be inclusive of all the scaffoldings, ladders, cranes etc and T&P to reach roofs to fix the sheets , tenderers are advised to visit the site and quote their rates accordingly and no claim or nothing extra shall be admissible on this account at any later stage
