OUTSOURCING SERVICES FOR OPERATION AND MAINT OF LIFTS IN RESI AREA AT PHASE-I, DRDO COMPLEX, AND TECH AREAS AT LRDE, NEW CAIR, MTRDC, MAINT AND REPAIRS TO HOT/EOT CRANES AT LRDE UNDER GE (I) RndD (WEST) BENGALURU

Providing services for operation of passenger lifts at DRDO Phase - I, residential area Bldg Nos E-25 to E-29 (G+5, Six landing); single shift from 0830 Hours to 1700 hours on all days including Sundays and holidays. Man power required is One lift operator per lift per shift complete all as specified and as directed. (5 Nos of lifts for 9 Months) NOTES :- (i) The unit rate quoted by the tenderer shall deemed to include the cost towards provision of reliever. (ii) The scope of work also includes cleaning of working areas, equipments, lift room / Machine room of building.

Notes to Sl Item No 1 (Contd.,) (iii) In case of non-manning/non-operation of lifts, recovery will be made at double the proportional rate. Decision of Accepting Officer will be final, conclusive and binding in this regards. iv) Tenderer shall arrange insurance to his work-men and relevant proofs of the same shall be submitted to the department as and when demanded, the cost for the same is deemed to be included in the rate quoted. Responsibility of compliance of labour regulations in force lies with the tenderer. The provision of statutory laws relating to minimum wages, EPF, ESI payments shall be strictly adhered to by the contractor. The Contractor shall produce proof of wages, EPF and ESI paid against the respective workmen while claiming payments. v) Absent from duty of technician is not permissible as E&M services are essential in nature. vi) The rates quoted by the Contractor / firm shall not be less than minimum wages as notified by Govt Of India / State Govt / Local body whichever is higher, including taxes as applicable. In case the rates quoted are less than the minimum wages as mentioned hereinbefore, his/their tender will be treated as non-bonafide and will not be considered for Acceptance. In such case, the lowest tender shall be determined by the lowest amount amongst valid / bonafide bids only. Contractor shall not have any claim in this regards. (vii) Mode of measurement is Per Lift Per Month.

NOTES FOR SL ITEM NOS 18 to 22 : - (i) Spares required to maintain the cranes will be measured and paid as supply only items separately under relevant items of this schedule as and when required during currency of contract. Preparation of old painted surfaces of EOT Crane 2 Ton capacity, end carriage double bridge gantry, motors, gear boxes, bottom block, plat form structure and girder cross, travel trolley etc by scrapping, cleaning, using wire brush, sand paper etc complete and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of old painted surfaces of Hoist Monorail 5 Ton capacity, end carriage double bridge gantry, motors, gear boxes, bottom block, plat form structure and girder cross, travel trolley etc by scrapping, cleaning, using wire brush, sand paper etc complete and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of old painted surfaces of EOT Crane 10 Ton capacity, end carriage double bridge gantry, motors, gear boxes, bottom block, plat form structure and girder cross, travel trolley etc by scrapping, cleaning, using wire brush, sand paper etc complete and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Rewinding of electric motor of crane, 3 phase, 415 Volts, AC, of any make of Motor 0.5 HP To 1 HP capacity, after opening up, removing the burn out winding / other parts and rewinding with super enameled copper wire of same gauge and number of turns and applying insulating varnish including overhauling / servicing , greasing and replacement of unserviceable bearings and miscellaneous parts and reassemble the parts, re-fixing to the position, testing for its satisfactory working , etc., complete all as specified and as directed

Material and labour for laying of burnt bricks sub class `B’ bricks of size 230 x 115 x 75 mm, laid in trenches for cable protection all as directed and specified

Taking down existing 1100 Volts grade cable and Supply and laying new XLPE insulated cable, screened, bedded galvanized steel strip/wire armoured heavy duty with aluminium conductor of cross sectional area 50 Sq mm 3.5 core with cable protection works (as applicable) laid in trenches/ ducts/ fixed on pole/ wall/ laid under road / path/ culvert/ drains/ encased in pipe, including necessary lugs, joiniting and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- Necessary excavation, earthwork and cable protection works will be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Taking down existing unserviceable step down transformer of any type and capacity and replacement with step down transformer, 3 Phase, 440 V, 50 Hz suitable for working input voltage between 380 to 440 V, with output of 230 V, 300 VA capacity including necessary fixing / connecting complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of unserviceable hook block from EOT crane and supply, install, commissioning and testing of lifting hook block shank type plain hooks with hook latch as per IS 3815 and IS 5749, suitable for 2 to 3 Ton capacity. Make Power Mech Engg or Jay Sakthi Engg Works.
