REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF MES POWER HOUSE SUB STATION AND WATER SUPPLY INSTALLATIONS ELECTRIC WATER SUPPLY EQUIPMENTS AND LIGHTING PROTECTION WORKS AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS AT ALHILAL MIL STATION UNDER GE PALAMPUR

S&F Air termination vertical type, Single pointed made with 12mm dia 300mm long aluminium rod including necessary fixing arrangements with aluminium bolts, nuts, lead washers etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex. head screw, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix tubes light grade with all fittings 40 mm dia fixed on the roof for Air termination with clamp, nut, bolt and fixing arengement in each shelter all as per requirement complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Horizontal /down conductors, aluminium strip of size 25 x 3.15mm and incl epoxy insulator bus bar type 40mm thick at an interval of 60 cm apart for lightening protection on roof and for down conductors, including all fixing arrangement and aluminium nut, bolt & washers complete all as per IS-2309-1989 and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- i) Aluminium strip shall be jointed with rivets (minimum 4 Nos) .

S&F Galvanised iron strip of size 32 x 6mm from earth pit to test point provided all around the bldg for lightening protection laid in trenches/fixed to walls on epoxy insulators with screws etc and connecting up complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Checking of Earth Resistance of GI/Copper /Chemical/Normal Earthing and maintaining the resistance as required Earth Resistance Tester will be provided by the Contractor, and will be recorded in Register, same will be put up to the Engineer-in-Charge . Contractor will be responsible for pouring of water in the Earth Pits at his own arrangement with Water Tanker, etc. However, Water will be provided by the Department. complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and installation with testing complete of digital water level indication device including HLT( Hydrostatic Level Transmitter submerge type with 10 meter cable and IP 65 enclosure) & Techtrol level indicator controller(TLIC) 7 segment LED display, power supply AC 230V, 50Hz wall mounted enclosure IP 65 , & connection between HLT & TLIC with 2 core 1.5 sqmm copper cable of appropriate length & fixing all devices operating on single phase supply direct display digit system in meter/CM of water of over head tank ensuring alarm while water fall or rise over predetermined limits with the following description complete all as specified and as directed. including dismantling old unserviceable water level indicator.

M&L Taking out loose/displaced Serviceable Aluminium Strip/ Copper Strip/ GI Strip of any size and any description with Accessories and refixing the same with necessary Fixing Arrangement like Screws, Saddles, Nuts and Bolts, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: Cost of Screws, Saddles, Nuts and Bolts, etc. will deemed to be included in the Quoted Unit Rate.

Material and labour for Earthing complete with galvanised iron earth electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to and including GI earthing strip 32x6mm by means of GI bolts/nuts/washers and protected by 40 mm bore GI light grade pipe upto test point or upto main switch board / electric equipment / pole / lightning arrestor / HT/LT equipments / GODO switch etc, fixing with 02 Nos nuts and bolts and protection pipe fixed with and including flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washers. Earth plate shall be surrounded by alternate packed layer 15 cm thick of charcoal or coke and common salt all around bottom and top. 20 mm bore GI medium grade pipe for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, PCC chamber pit made with PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) including necessary form work, excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning filling and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m. Pit cover 40mm thick made with RCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) including TMT reinforcement 8mm dia @ 75mm c/c both way, MS handle 12mm dia, cover rest on MS angle iron frame 40x40x6mm embedded in concrete duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified & shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR 2009 (Part-I) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note:- (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (ii) Protection pipe and GI earthing strip upto electric equipment from top of earth plate shall be included in the unit rate of this item. (iii) The earth testing arrangement should be done by the contractor as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for Earthing complete with copper plate 60×60cm ×3.15mm thick electrode buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to and including 20×3mm copper strip as earthing lead by means of GI bolts/nuts/washers and protected by 40 mm bore GI light grade pipe upto test point or upto main switch board / electric equipment / pole / lightning arrestor / HT/LT equipments / GODO switch etc, fixing with 02 Nos nuts and bolts and protection pipe fixed with and including flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washers.
