REPAIR TO BITUMEN ROAD, PCC ROAD INCLUDING ROAD FURNITURE AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS AT ZONE-I UNDER GE SAMBA AT MIL STN SAMBA

Scarifying or picking up gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces area exc. 400 Sqm and depth exc. 50mm but not exc. 100mm deep, complete all as specified & directed.

Material and Labour for 75mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) (granite, basalt or trap) with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Srl item No 2 here in before but except material complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Preparation of Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 10 Kg per 10Sqm of road surface complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for Premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 4% by total mix laid by self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for repair to pot holes any depth, not exc. 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and making good by applying bituminous tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of pot holes exc 30mm, complete all as specified & directed. Note: The patching of pot holes shall be as per Para 20.A.34.2 of SSR Part-I.

Material and Labour for Preparation of existing black top surface of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm of road surface, complete all as specified & directed.

Material and Labour for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) using binder (Bitumen VG-30 grade) contents @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix, mixed in Hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) using binder (Bitumen VG-30 grade) contents @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix, mixed in Hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for thermoplastic road marking paint 2.5mm thick, white or golden yellow in colour, conforming to BS-3262, in lines, arrow, dashes & letters exceeding 10cm in width, applied hot, using application unit and retroreflective glass beads @ 250 to 300 gram/Sqm to withstand vehicular traffic load, laid as per manufacture's instructions, the finish surfaces to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes as per MORTH specification complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of dual directional reflective cat eye of aluminium casted stud 100x100mm having plastic ABS strips containing 62 mini retro reflective glass beeds of colour white/red/yellow a side provided with steel zinc plated nail of dia 12mm of length 120mm for fixing to road by hammering, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermoplastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description in any position not otherwise specifically provided for, complete all as specified.

Material and Labour for Cement concrete work in pavement/hard-standing of flexural strength 40 kg per square centi-metre in field using 400 Kg of cement per cubic metre, thickness of concrete 25cm or less, complete all as specifed & directed.

Material and Labour for forming 12mm thick Expansion joints filled with pre-formed bituminious filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound Grade ‘A’, thickness of concrete slab 150mm, complete all as specified & directed.

Material & Labour for forming Contraction (Dummy) joints 65mm deep x 10mm wide, filled with sealing compound grade ‘A’, complete all as specified & directed.

Material & Labour for forming Construction joints 30mm deep x 10mm wide, filled with sealing compound grade ‘A’, complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified.
