Excavation in earth work in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comparing of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting but blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water poulation, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiselling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting /excavation, including rock excavated shall be carried out true to lines grades side slopes width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road Clause 1603.1., 1603.2 to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materials useful for stacking of materials sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming filling if unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as smooth riding. All useful materials such as stones, shingles, aggregates and slates shall be sorted out and stacked along the road side not less than 279.39 cum ( Two hundred Seventy Nine point Thirty Nine cubic metere) in all cases, failing which recovery @ Rupees 170/- ( One hundred Seventy only) per cubic metre shall be effected. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all case comlete including carriage of material with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in charrge.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drain and parapets etc. in all types of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rocks, chiselling/wedging out of rock ( where blasting is prohibitted) as per drawing and MORD technical specifications clause 305.1 and 1606.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing , removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal upto any lead and lift,including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the orignal surface in layers not exceeding 150mm ( One hundred fifty milimetre) compacted thickness including sorting and strutting and pumping and bailing out water ( surface and sub soil water) upto all depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out doing dewatering as per the direction of the Engineer-in- charge and including of carriage of materials within all leads and lifts. and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in charrge.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 802,803,1202 1203 in PCC grade Nominal size 1:6:12( one cement isto six sand isto twelve grade stone aggregate 40mm ( Forty milimetre ) nominal size including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in superstructrue complete as per drawings and technical specification Clauses 1002, 1010 and 1202 including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing weepholes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying 900mm dia ( Nine hundred milimetre dia) reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 for culverts on first class bedding of granular materials in single row including fixing excluding excavation protection work, back filling concrete and masonary work in head walls and parapets clause 1108 including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Back filling behind abutment wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 1204.3.8 Including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm four milimetre) dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS: 4826 in 100 mm x 100 mm ( Hundred milimetre into Hundred milimetre) mesh ( woved diagonally) including 10 % ( Ten percent ) extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg ( Twenty five kilogram) each as per drawing and technical Specifications Clause 1301. including carriage of materials all lead & lift and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying boulder apron ( Stone filling under floor) for bed protection with boulders of minimum size and weight as per Table 1300.1, No fragment weighing less than 25 kg laid dry complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 1301. including carriage of all labour equipment and material to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts ,including all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge

Providing and laying flooring laid over cement concrete bedding (c.c. bedding to be paid for seperately) complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 1303. including all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge (i) Rubble stone laid in cement mortar 1:3 ( One cement isto three sand)

Preparation of sub-graded by dressing to camber (earth work) for the cutting involved for sub- graded to be paid for separately depending upon classifocation. including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Consolidation of sub-grade with road roller including making good the un-dulation etc with earth or quarry soil etc. and re-rolling the sub-grade complete as per HPPWD specification. including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401, ( Four hundred one) For Grading-I materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing laying spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 KN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill - up the interstices of coarse aggregate watering and compacting to the required density Grading II 63mm ( Sixty Three milimetre) to 45mm ( Forty Five milimetre) as per technical specification clause 405. by mechnical means including all leads,lifts and carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidental complete as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing laying spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 KN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill - up the interstices of coarse aggregate watering and compacting to the required density Grading III 53mm to 22.5 mm ( Fifty three milimetre to Twenty two point Five milimetre) as per technical specification clause 405. by mechnical means including all leads,lifts and carriage of materials complete as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying primer coat with emulsion (SS-1) binder on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.85 (Zero point eight five) kilogramme per suare metre using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with emulsion (RS-1) binder using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.275 (zero point two seven five kilogramme per square metre ) on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503. including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, laying and rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20 mm (twenty milimetre) thickness composed of 13.2mm(thirteen point two milimetre) to 5.6 mm (five point six milimetre) aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen for emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheeled 80-100kn (eighty to hundred ) static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of Type B as per Technical specification clause 508 Bitumen (S-90) (S- Ninety) . including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type-B as per Technical Specification Clause 510 (Five hundred ten). Bitumen (S-90) (S- Ninety) including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Reinforced cement concrete M15 grade kilometre stone/local stone of standard design as per IRC:8 fixing in position including painting and printing, etc as per drawing and Technical Specification Rural road August 2004 Clause 1703 Ordinary kilometre stone/including hauling of materials in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Reinforced cement concrete M15 grade kilometre stone/local stone of standard design as per IRC:8 fixing in position including painting and printing, etc as per drawing and Technical Specification Rural road August 2004 Clause 1703 (200m stone ( two hundred metre) stone (precast). including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing of retroreflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign board as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type relective sheeting 1.5 mm ( One point five milimetre) thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75mm x6mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundations with M-15 grade cement concrete 450x450x600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per approved drawing Clause 801.1 900 mm ( Nine hundred milimetre) equilateral triangle including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and erecting direction and place identifications of semi reflective sign boards as per IRC:67 made of 2 mm thick M.S. Sheet duly stove enameled paint in white colour in front and grey colour on back with red reflective border of 70 mm width and required message, letters, figures with reflective engineering grade tape as per MORD specifications of required shade and colour. Supported and welded on 47 mm x 47mm of 12 SWG Square tube of 3050 mm height duly strengthened by 25 mm x 5 mm M.S flat iron on edges on back firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundations with M-15 grade cement concrete 450 mm x 450 mm x 600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per approved drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1701 including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Printing new letter and figures of any shade with synthetic enamel paint black or any other approved colour to give an even shade as per drawings and technical specification clause 1701. Hindi ( matras commasa ans the like.
