M & L for pressure testing of existing 150mm dia CI / DI / MS of water supply / fire lines for identifying leakages for rectifications including replacement of gland packing of sluice valves, rubber insertion packing, nut ,bolts etc of flanged joints / defective flanges etc complete for making the system leak proof complete all directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: (a) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of T&P such as air compressor for pressure testing etc (b) Earthwork, Supply only DI / MS pipe & specials required for rectification if any shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items BOQ. (c) Minimum & maximum distance shall be 1 KM & 2 KM of any type / size of pipes for conducting pressure test and the same will be considered as Each Job.

M & L for rectification of existing defective / leakage flanged joints with rubber or fibre gasket complete with necessary nuts, bolts and washers all as specified for 80 mm dia pipe lines of DI / MS / GI pipes complete all as directed. Note:- (a) quoted rates are inclusive of cutting of DI / MS / GI Pipes, jointing materials and preparation of new flanged sockets and re fixing the same at existing place. (b) Necessary excavation and pipes are measured and paid separately.)

Supply & fix DI fittings in repairs (pressure class K-9) such as bends, (any type, radius and angle), Tapers any type (straight bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) Tee piece single branch "Y" junction double branch, cross (all socket or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs of size up to 200mm bore confirming to IS 9523-2000 all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for replacement of framed work such as valve chamber covers, static tank cover, base frames for pump sets, protection covers for pump sets/panel boards, staging for water tank, ladders etc complete all as specified.

M & L for arresting water leakage from sluice valve, by refacing, regrinding of sluice Valve, Repacking stuffing box of sluice valve spindle including taking apart and reassembling the same including replacing old check nuts with new one made out of MS / CI material, with and including replacing perished gland packing, rubber gasket, bolts and nuts complete all as directed for the following sizes :-

Material and labour for taking down defective foot valves from UG Sump, removing corrosion and painting with one coat of red oxide along with black enamel paint and replacing rubber gaskets, foot valve bottom rubber with spring complete with renewal of necessary bolts, nuts, washers complete all as specified for 150 / 100 mm dia size of foot valves.

Supply and fixing in replacement Mild steel Air Release Valve, 80 mm dia, ISI marked, fixing up in MS / DI / GI water supply mains with including suitable flanges 2 Nos with nuts, bolts, washers, fibre gasket complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L Synthetic mat (rubber matting) suitable for 1100 Volts electrical grade 2mx1mx19mm thick chequered top, ISI marked to be laid in front of LT panel board complete all as specified and directed.

M & L in repairs for Brickwork with subclass 'B' old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exec 6m mean radius built in Cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of concrete or brick surface mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer's instruction finished even and fair without using extra cement including two coats of white washing complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil next. 1.5M wide & n exec 1.5M deep for laying of GI/CI pipe line & getting out including forming bottom surface all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, trenches including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layer next. 250 mm in any type of soil after the pipe laid & tested complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance next. 50mtr and depositing where directed at a level next. 1.5 m above the starting point all as specified and directed

M & L Taking down existing electric motor 3 phase 415V 50 cycles AC from foundations bed / coupling opening the motor taking to workshop and removing the burnt windings cleaning the stator and rotor with cleaning agent rewinding the motor with appropriate gauge of super enamelled copper wire of same gauge and same no of turns of existing make insulating winding with existing class of insulation varnishing baking up including supply and replacement of base foundation nuts bolts same to site and re-installation of motor with suitable packing materials and connecting to the pump, testing the motor satisfactory performance for the up to 5 HP capacity and any make of the motor :- Note : The quoted rate deemed to inclusive of replacement of Bearings etc.
