MAINTENANCE OF EARTHING SYSTEMS AT ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS ALONGWITH MAINTENANCE AND REPLACEMENT OF CHEMICAL EARTHING AND OTHER EARTHING OF CONNECTED ITEMS AT INA EZHIMALA

Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6.0 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25m deep below ground level with the top edge of earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5m below ground level connected to GI earth strip of size 25 mm x 4 mm by means of bolts, nuts, washers of galvanised iron or steel, GI earth wire shall be protected by 40mm dia GI pipe 'medium grade', watering pipe 20mm dia GI pipe 'light grade', GI wire meshed funnel, alternate layer of charcoal and earthing compound on all side to earth plate upto a thickness of 150mm, filling of black cotton soil in earth pit upto GL, and connected to earth plate including necessary excavation & earthwork, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 earth chamber, 50mm thick RCC cover (1:2:4) type B1 mix with 8mm dia nominal reinforcement @ 100mm c/c both ways etc complete all as shown in electrical plate No.3 connected to earthing test point, including testing on completion, complete all as speciified and as directed. NOTE:- (a) Rate quoted shall deemed to include cost of excavation in any type of soil, PCC and hardstanding, making goods etc at various areas at INA ezhimala and removal upto 50 metre of unserviceable PCC pit, funnel and RCC cover plate etc (b) Rate quoted shall deemed to include GI earth strip/ earth wire up to 7.5m and GI protection pipe light grade as required. (c) Rate quoted shall deemed to include taking down old items. (d) The bed to be done in 3 x 15 cm depth greenearth earthing compound and 3 x 15 cm depth of charcoal in aternate layer. (e) Contactor will be conduct earth resistence test in presence of Engr-in- charge and also submitted test report.

All as per srl item no 1.00 here in before but connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4.0mm dia, 7.5 meter long, all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for galvanised iron strip of size 25 x 4 mm as earth continuty conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required including PVC saddles with necessary nut & bolt, screws etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Note (ii). The strip will be measured and paid separately beyond 7.5 mtr for each earthing.

All as per srl item no 4.00 here in before but galvanised iron strip of size 32 x 6 mm,complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Fixing of GI pipe light grade grade 32 mm bore for strip protection fixed to pole/along wall/ under road/across nallah or drain inclusive of all fittings such as tees bends, elbows, reducer, bell mouth tube ends and all fixing accessories such as couplers hook, nuts, saddles, pipe hook etc inclusive excavation work complete all as specified and as ditected.

All as per srl item no 6.00 here in before but GI pipe light grade 40 mm bore,complete all as specified and as ditected.

Material and Labour for repair of existing deteriorated earth pit and re- construct new earth pit of size 450mm x 450mm inside dimension and 300mm deep with bricks masonary of 1:4 ratio cement mortar and provide inside and outside cement plaster 10mm thick (1:4 Cement mortar) with RCC cover plate. including open handle and distemper as per earth pit and provide GI funnel with mesh for watering complete all as specified and as directed .
